With the vast amount of religions, how does one know that religion "X" is the right religion? People convert their beliefs all of the time and thus people who are utterly convinced of one religious belief, change their minds and adopt a new one. So how would one know which is the right religion, how do they know they are absolutely sure?

If you have ever accepted Jesus Christ into your heart you would know. God changes you from the inside out. Not the outside in. Think about that. Jesus said its not what goes in that defiles a man but what comes out. Take food, so many religions won't eat certain foods, that doesn't make sense. What you eat passes thru you. What comes out of you comes from the heart and your mind. Thats where the difference is. Jesus will change you on the inside, he will give you peace in your heart and in your soul. Your heart will no longer be seeking, with Christ you have found what you were looking for. Look at America, by far the most blessed nation on the Planet, even thou we are going away from our Christian roots we are still the most blessed. The middle east with all the oil is at best third world countries. When you are changed on the inside, you will make a difference in the world, if there is no change on the inside, you will stay the same or get worse. Would you like to become a Christian today, you can right now, we are all sinners, Jesus died to wash away our sins. His salvation is free, just pray this sinners pray and believe, its that simple, just say, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

Read and learn about as many religions as you want and whatever religion provides you with the following is the absolute one and the one to be followed;
Social justice, all individuals have just the same rights and duties.
Women rights, women have the right to practice their freedom just like men.
Worship the only REAL God and maker of the existence, Allah.
Freedom to embrace whatever religion you want is available to everyone in the society.
Freedom of thinking is available to every one.

There is no such thing as "the absolute religion". People have always had questions about how everything came to be, what will happen after death, and how the balance of "good" and "evil" shall be righted. As each group found/finds its answers they eventually form a system. This becomes doctrine/dogma/creed. This they come to regard as "THE" truth and they use it to define themselves over against other groups.
We humans do this with almost everything from politics to patriotism to sports teams.

I do not think that the one God with many faces and many names is bound by one religion. That doesn't even make sense. He is...well...God. How can anyone bind Him???? I just talk to God as though he is my very best friend in the entire universe(s) and that is exactly what God is. The best friend we could ever ask for, or even hope to have.
Blessed Be

When you have total peace in what you believe then that is the right answer. It took me years to realize God is not an organized religion. Try many and all until you find peace, it's probably part of his plan for you.

Don"t base your salvation on religion.
Religion does nothing but confuse people. Base your free ticket to Heaven, by being saved, by the Grace of God.

Pray, study, read. Then follow your heart.
Since the Roman Catholic Church is the one church founded by Jesus himself, I tend to believe that one has the fullness of truth.
