Also..in school. I really don't get why kids have to say that they hate other people because they are not skinny enough to be liked. its like if your not good looking in their eyes, then they think that you are some sucky person.

Because the health care industry has convinced us that fat people and smokers are the cause for the ridiculous cost of health care and not the fact that the top dogs are making upwards of 40 million per year to find ways to save the shareholders money by cutting our coverage and raising our prices.
Point by the EMT well taken, though. Morbid obesity is not ok and can pose serious health risks.

In general, you're right. It shouldn't matter to other people. But I'm an EMT and let me tell you, when you get to a house and have to get a 300 pound patient down 2 flights of narrow stairs because he's having chest pain...it matters!

As long as I don't have to give up part of my seat on the bus ,train or airplane because they don't fit in the space for one.
My mom had a guest over once who happened to bring a friend with him. His friend was so large that he broke my moms kitchen chair. It was a solid oak "captians" chair. She was unable to fix it and her kitchen looked funny with only three matching chairs.
