Would you want to change how the monarchy runs? Do you think the monarchy shouldn't have strict rules anymore?

I don't have anything against Jews, I support Israel and I am by no means racist, but it seems to me bad to say that the Holy Family was Jewish when it was the Jews of that area (not all Jews!) who killed.

According to the Passion of the Christ, the Jewish merchants tell the Jewish soldiers to crucify. It shows them walking through the streets of Rome up to the cross.

I guess it is just insult to injury.

Please don't construe this as racist or anything, I know it happened A LONG time ago and His Holiness Pius the XI forgave the Jews.

NOT a question targeting those who allow a little "leeway" in interpretations/accuracy but to those who think the King James Version is 100% infallable word of God:

From the King James Version:

“Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.” 2 Chronicles 22:2

“Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of Israel.” 2 Kings 8:26

How did that come about then?

A fellow employee went to a funeral yesterday. Catholic lady passes away. Member of the same Catholic Church for all her life. Priest is up there giving his eulogy & stops & says to the coffin "now what's your name again?". Skips over it, & continues on. She told us this this morning. It reminded me of that new commercial where the guy is new & answering the phone with his paperwork in front of him & says "hello, my name is - fill in the blanks".

The family were furious that after all the time as a member of that church, the priest didn't even remember their mother's name. She was just a body in a pew & money in the collection plate it seems.

I'm not Catholic. I grew up a Baptist. The people that we went to church with all knew each other as did the minister. It was like a huge family. The minister came to the hospital when people were in there & even came to the house to check up on you.

I believe that some people are born gay and that some are influenced by their peers and are just confused. I am not homophobic. I am confused as to how someone with no life experiences can know they are gay. Do you know even younger?

How do you define love? How do you define God? What do you think of the trillions of marriages that have always existed without your religion interfering?

That is the question for today. There is a great
movement going on here in America. And we
all over the world, should just learn to accept people
for who they are, regardless of race or color.
Because unity is the driving force of humanity, and
harmony among the entire world. So please tell me,
what are your thoughts on the Jena 6. The case of
injustice in the state of Louisiana. Best answer wins.

PPl are telling me they have seen someone using my name without a picture, pretendint to be me and saying things they KNOW I would not say. I know there are wicked ppl on here, and I leave them to God. I dont know how they do this or hot to stop it and I dont worry about it. But, my question is this>

THOSE OF YOU FAMILILIAR WITH ME KNOW THIS , I AM A BIT WORDY I THINK GOD IS CALLING ME TO PREACH, BUT YOU SEE I AM CONSISTANT IN MY BELIEFS AND THAT I AM A STRONG CHRISTIAN. I BELIEVE IN ALL OF THE BIBLE AND THAT WE MUST OBEY IT.
So, when someone tries to impersonate me with things that are not of God or that I would say, WOULDNT YOU KNOW THAT WASNT ME/// Thats the question. Just ignore those nasty ppl, who want to silence me for speaking the truth about God. Dont they know you cant silence a true Christian. God knows jsut how to deal with them. When you curse someone, it curses you.
So be praying for me and the person that is attemting to impersonate me, .

I stupidly leave my main door open often, with just the screen door closed. I swear my neighborhood is obviously screaming for help because there are sooo many JWs and Mormons knocking on doors A LOT. I don't want to be rude, but I also don't want to listen to that. How can I immediately get rid of them, stop them, but without being rude?

Just wondering. I can't imagien that they would ever feel good about themselves whether they refrained, or got married, or carried on with relationships and prayed away the sin after.

Don't you think it's good there are no prayer groups in Schools? You would have to let all the religions (prayers) be prayed in order to be fair! Don't you think that children being denied prayer in school makes them hungry and thirsty for God's word, and his righteousness, and they shall be filled? :)
Have a blessed day!!!

I am a waitress and served a family of born again baptists. As a tip, I recieved a bible. The whole time they were odd and very silent and the children were ignored. It was very surreal. Don't they realize that I work for the tip? Not for god?? So, here's my question,

Why is it that all of you religious people look down upon people who are atheist or agnostic, you preach all about loving thy neighbor but yet we don't feel your love, just your hatred and closed-mindedness. We don't need your pity or your prayers, we just look for respect. The same kind of respect we give to you. I swear jesus-lovers preach and preach and preach about love and respect but in reality they are all just a bunch of hypocrits. As soon as they meet a homosexual, or a non-traditional family they go bonkers. Why can't everyone just co-exist? And personally, if you can't leave a tip consisting of money, don't go out at all.

I'm a bi girl and i am in a relationship with a guy. I was really happy with my lot then earlier this year I met a gay girl. She was always quite flirty with me! I went to her birthday drinks and she hugged me goodbye and then kissed me on the lips, I went to kiss her back but she withdrew. I then emailed her and she eventually emailed me back. I have continued emailing her although she doesn't always check her messagesbut does respond when she does. She gave me her number so she could get me on the guest list for a club but I haven't called her. I did go to the club last week and I saw her. She came over and chatted to us and took hold of my arm a couple of times but then withdrew quite quickly. I really don't know what to do! I cannot stop thinking about her and feel so guilty about my boyfriend but I think I want to take this further!
I listed this in singles and dating before I realised there is a LGBT forum so apologies if some of you have already answered!

Old favourite again!

It is my understanding that Christians claim that:

a) their God is Omni present/scient/potent
b) that man was created by God. (One day we didnt exist, one day we did)

and

c) we are responsible for our actions, as we have been given Freewill

My assertion is that if God creates a person(b), and does so with the attribute of omniscience(a), then God cannot grant that person true 'freewill' (c) as God knows everything that will ever happen to that person the moment they come into existance.

So if you disagree please try and help me understand the failings in the logic - ie Which premise, (a), (b) or (c) is incorrect?

(and please if you cannot explain it yourself please don't make references to bible rationale sites - I've read them....)
(and I also don;t need any pity, prayers, threats of devine retribution etc. Trust me I am well stocked with all three)

a structure in one of it's chambers that has the same dimentions of the ark of the covenant,......even paticular stones in the pyramid have the frequency of the human heart beat.........of coarse there is much more that is connected to the earth and the celestial planets and such.........so you think Christ symbolizes the cap stone on the pyramid.........Remember that the Pyramid was there before the Egyptions came around.......nobody seems to know who build this specific Great Pyramid..............What are your thoughts on all of this...............You can speculate,........I will surely not hold it against anyone.
