No, because prayer should not be led by school staff. It doesn't matter what religion the teacher is; leading a class prayer shows bias, and they are supposed to be neutral on such matters at school.
Now, if the class joined another student in Vedic Prayer, I would have no problem with it whatsoever. I'm open to all religions, and I expose my daughter to as many different viewpoints as possible so she can make up her own mind.

Did I miss a memo or something? This question keeps being asked in very slightly different form.
No, I don't want prayer taught in school. Well - "A Prayer for Owen Meany" would be ok, but that's the only one that occurs to me. I don't want Vedic Prayer taught in school. I don't want Islam taught in school. I don't want Christianity taught in school. I don't want atheism taught in school. Granted, your values are your values, and you will communicate them to your students whether you want to or not, and I'm fine with that. Leave the religious instruction for church or temple or home or whatever.

Prayers or beliefs in general have no place in the public school system. Church should be the school and parents the teachers in religious matters. Like Jesus said, 'Give unto Ceaser that which is his, and unto God that which is his.'

Absolutely not. That's why even though I'm a Christian, I don't want to see prayer in school. I believe in separation of Church and State.

Sure, as long as it wasn't during classtime. :P
I'm not ok with anyone taking away from educational oportunities to give time to religion. People can pray whenever and wherever they want, they don't need a special time or treatment for it.

Personally no, as if I had sent my children to a secular school I would wish it to be so - secular. I would have no objection with them learning of other religions, but I would wish to be informed about exactly what they were learning as I would with any other aspect of their schooling.

VEDAS SAYS THAT GOD IS ONE. ONLY SO THAT PEOPLE CAN FIND IT EASILY TO CONCENTRATE A IDOL IS WORSHIPPED. YOU CALL GOD AS RAM,SHIVA,KRISHNA,DURGA,SURYA,GANESH,ALLAH OR CHRIST. THEY ARE ALL SAME. VEDIC PRAYER IS PRAYER OF THAT SUPREME SOUL WHICH IS PRESENT IN ALL OF US IN EVERYTHING IN THIS UNIVERSE.
