Well, last night, I was laying in my bed, and I was taking forever to get to sleep. This happens alot, (in fact, every night!) so it was nothing new. Finally, I got to sleep (but I didn't remember it, as one does. Or rather, doesn't). The next morning, my dad woke me up and told me to get ready for the day ahead. I was eating breakfast at the table, still half-asleep, when he said, "The weirdest thing happened last night. Are you awake enough to listen?" "Just gimme another minute..." I said. I rounded up my backpack and stuff, came back (more awake this time), and said, "Alright lay it on me." He started to explain how he had come to check on me last night, after I was asleep (flashback!!!). "I came in to check on you when you sat straight up and started speaking jibberish. It sounded alot like Greek, or Latin. And your eyes. They were...different, like they were looking through me, not at me. It felt like you weren't there. It felt really creepy." I had always been into Greek mythology, and new a few Latin words. This wouldn't have been extraordinary (except for the eyes) if another person hadn't had a similar experience. I was on Yahoo! Answers when someone posted a similar question. He said he was riding on a bus (obviously a long trip) when he fell asleep. He woke again when the bus hit a bump. His mother was staring at him wildy and he asked her why. "You were just speaking jibberish." An older woman, looking offended, said, "That was not jibberish. That was Polski. You were speaking about someone named (I cannot remember the real name) John Tootinfroot." He went home and looked up the name and it turns out he was a man that lived long ago. One of the answers even said SHE had a similar experience.
This in itself is weird, but the fact that I had a great fascination with Ancient Greece (and partly wanting to be a greek hero, child of Poseidon-see my name) and Rome is astounding. (Continued on third post)

My dad spectulated that it was my knowledge of the Latin and Greek languages to form a psuedo-greek/latin language. But then, how would I have been able to repeat it several times? In my mind this is real. I have 4 facts that are EXACTLY the same in each story.
1) It occured when the speaker was asleep.
2)The speaker had a great fascination with the country the language originated from.
3) It occured around a parentage (symobolizing that we do not come from them...?)
4) The eyes. In both cases (although not listed in the second) the eyes were different, as though they were staring through the psuedo/not psuedo parent.
Now I ask you-what do you think caused this?
