We already have to many illegal immigrants hoping the border so we don't need anymore.

Their government knows, as most socialist governments know, that the whole country would empty out.
BTW- Once Cubans Set foot on American soil they are legal. There is a special law made just for Cubans after Castro came to power.

how abt this: cubans can leave cuba when americans leave america and we can all switch! i would love to live in the caribbean anyway, but i'd prefer jamaica

usually communist regimes will not allow their citizens
to leave their country. Remember the Berlin Wall?
Oppression and fear is what they impose. Tyranny is a sad and unjust way to govern a Nation.
