look I don't need to be called silly and abused to get and answer, It is only a question and actually nothing to do with my beliefs. Folk do not have to mock what they think is ignorance. I am just exploring so be nice or don't bother.

Catherine you get my point, certain beliefs are the hardest to change even when you want to forget them and explore elsewhere

That makes no sense. I don't believe in any deity, I was not made in his/her imaginary image...my parents made me, life evolved, hence I am here and that is not proof of any deity.

Because god did not "make us in his image" we evolved over millions of years. If there is a god then that god set up the rules and systems by which all life has evolved so you could say all life is in that god's image be it a man, a dog, a fish or an ant.

This 'image' of god...what is it? Is it a short little fat bloke with no hair? Or perhaps a long legged blond? Maybe it's a person born with no limbs or an extreme facial deformity? What about race? What about previous species of man?
People have believed in themselves from a time well before 'god' was invented.

It's easy. Really.
It's hard to imagine for you because it's so ingrained into you to believe in a God, but if you had never been told of God you would believe in yourself without needing to acknowledge a magical, supernatural being that has no evidence for existence.

because not everyone believes there as a great almighty up there somewhere.....some believe we evolved, rather than be created, others don't believe in anything but what they see right in front of them and what they feel, and they believe in their friends family and other loved ones, y'know, people they can actually converse with. this is just the way of life, everyones different, that doesn't make them a hypocrite

Your question is inherently silly! You skip over the big IF! If god made us in his image, you may have a point! He didn't, so nothing you say is valid!

A hypocrite is one that believes or states a belief in God but turns away from it and practices something different, It is better to take a stand, the scriptures states that because you were not cold or hot but lukewarm he will vomit you out of his mouth. there are many who have believed in only themselves and have been successful but will only gain this world and it's riches, a belief in God you gain the one that is yet to come.

Idiot. If you don't believe in God then you don't believe that a God made mankind. We evolved you nitwit.
By the way the burden of proof is on those who say he exists, not on those that disagree with your fantasy.

Do you not know that atheists start from the principle that there is no god. So how on earth are they going to start with your premise "if God made us in his image...." Please clarify your thinking!
