That is because the Middle East (Israel) was a desert and nobody wanted it. Virtually no one even lived there. It wasn't until Israel cultivated it and made it prosperous that the Arabs moved in and started to claim it was theirs. Turkey occupied it at that time, for the 400 years prior to it being liberated at the end of the First World War. If the Arabs wanted it, they could have had it for the asking. At that time there was no such a thing as a Palestinian.

No, I don't agree. The objections of the likes of Osama bin Laden to US actions in the Middle East have nothing to do with Israel.

Do some research on the Balfour Declaration. You'll discover it had more to do with WW-I and the United Kingdom.

The Zionist movement was a polical group -- not a religious group!

Listen to the song of the Marines - "from the halls of Montezuma to the shores of TRIPOLI." Tripoli is as Middle Eastern as you get and the marines have already been there.

The fact is - the old enemy is raising its head once again.

Tell John Sheehan, S.J. that God gave Israel a deed to their land in Israel and Israel is the only people with a God given right to any land that belongs to God. God tells us in His word that "the earth is Mine and all that is in it."

Israel is God's chosen people and He has promised them "the promised land." Israel is the one that God blessed, therfore, they will get the promised land and at any cost. This is a fact of life, so deal with it.

The other countries are not God's chosen people. They are the ones who are causing the trouble. They are bullys.

I don't have any friends nor enemies in the middle-east.....

.... besides perhaps that guy who contacted me before and admitted in conversation that he was stuck in Arabia and wanted to leave Islam... but his family would stone him to death if he did... He was alright. I sorta considered him a friend of sorts...

But on a larger scale... I don't have anything to do with the middle east whatsoever...

Don't think so. The Arabs in the Middle East were fighting in WWII on the side of the Nazis. So you tell me.

You call this statement "profound and truthful" and THEN ask if I agree with it? You just blessed it as "profound and truthful" how could I not? If you want someone's opinion then ask without suggesting what you think is the correct one. Or perhaps you were making a speech.
