I don't really care either way since it won't matter to me at that point. I'll leave it up to the people I leave behind when I die. All that I ask is that my organs and tissues be donated and possibly even the rest of my body for research. Whatever I can do to help out the rest of the world, I'm fine with it. Especially since I'll be dead and my body won't be of any use to me any more.

I'm to be cremated.

We are not a body with a spirit, we are spirit inhabiting a body...a "tabernacle of flesh". It wears out, like an old suit...and turns to dust one way or another.

I just think there is no reason NOT to speed up the whole process. Ashes, dust, what's the difference?

Cremation. There are enough dead bodies in the earth already. Even my kids have decided on cremation because they don't want the worms (maggots) to get them. LOL

My husband and I are planning to be cremated (after our organs, skin, etc. are all harvested). There is nothing in the Bible that is against it. It's cheaper and takes up less space, so it's the logical choice for us.

I've donated my body to the University of Tennessee, Forensic Anthropology Body Farm to use to further the science of Forensics and medical research. I'll rot away in a field and then have my bones stored in a box in the basement.

Cremation.

Funerals are totally barbaric.

Think of all the land that is used for cemetaries, that could be put to much better use, than burying dead people on!
