Yes. I do keep the paper currencies facing the same direction as it will save time when the cashier counts it or scans them. The cashier may refuse to accept it for the difficulty of rearranging. It will also inconvenience others who are in the "Q" after you. This is the proper Etiquette and this will be quicker and easier-

Most definitely... Actually, no I don't, but I do sort it into the same direction before putting it in my wallet, so when I take it out to give to the cashier, it is already that way.

Must be the Virgo in me, but I do sort it in my wallet, so that it all faces the same way. And I put all of like denomination together in order of value. So when I give it to a cashier, it is already in order.

I don't use cash, I think that is from living in South Africa.

I deposit into my Credit Card what I'm going to need, plus or minus, and use the card.

If anyone grabs my handbag, they won't get too much cash. And I have time to cancel the card. If I use more than I have put into the CC I transfer it back into the account to keep down the interest.

If I do, I just give it to them whichever way it comes out of my purse.

I, too, sort and face my money before it goes into my wallet: the larger bills in the back, ones in the front. I used to be a bookkeeper...old habits die hard! hehe!

Yes, as a matter of fact I do, so the bills I hand her/him will be facing in the right direction as the bills already in the drawer. It' a common courtesy thing. :)
