Walking in Christ is a life long commitment. Even the elderly need to learn new things about what the bible says and how to relate it to your every day life. Christians sin every day just like the rest of the world even established Christians so your faith can't just stop when you feel like you've put in enough time you worship until you die then you can rejoice for eternity.

People over the years grow in their love for Jesus, they probably have less needs than you, they have seen the Lord work so many times that its love that brings them out, Its a bond they have, they Prayer more, or at least I do, I have been going to church for over 40 years now, I love it more than I ever did, can't wait for Sundays and Wednesdays, I have just seen so many answered prayers and seen God work in so many ways that I know that when I pray God hears, the Bible says we are being transformed to the image of Jesus day by day. Praise ye the Lord, The only real need I have is for my health and seniors tend to go to church even when they really are not up to it but the love of going overcomes the pain. Its a testament to the Power of Jesus Christ in our lives and the years of service, God honors that with the strength to carry on. God bless you and have a great Sunday.
