Why does Pat Robertsons college have a Law School? Why does Liberty University have a diverse curriculum other than just religous studies? Why do so many Christians get college degrees?

(I recognize this is antagonistic, I just want you to realize what you're actually saying if you spout that cliché)

I work in an office with another group of people who rent in the office down the hall. They work for us, but are practically a seperate entity. The boss of the other group (we'll call him Joe) is an older man (60s) who doesn't seem to know boundaries. I sit diagonally from the president's office and I guess I'm what you'd call the last defense. Joe routinely blows right by me and just sticks his head into the office to see what Pres. is doing. He also walks into the VP office too, without knocking or pausing or anything. I have to routinely have to monitor him when he starts walking down the hall to the office. And I practically yell at him to stop because Pres. is in a meeting, on the phone, etc.
We've even put up a "Authorized Personnel Only" sign in the small lobby in front of the main desks to try to deter him (It was mainly used for our other reps. and wholesalers to prevent wandering). He just passes right by, he even laughed when we first put it up. My boss is completely aware.

Ok here it is. Last year we decided we would have another Christmas just to be different so we had the full works in February. This year we want to have a themed Christmas. We have thought of a beach theme, super hero theme and medieval. I am looking for any cool suggestions for our theme. Remember it has to be from start to finish. So food, costumes and all. I would be greatful for any suggestions. And dont forget there is kids involved lol.
Thanks

I work with around 40 people at a doctor's office in a urgent care setting. Therefore I do not see everyone all the time. There are a few that I am close with outside of work who will automatically get a mailed invite. The others who I work with, I am not close with them at work or dont really ever see. Do I have to invite them? Females can be so catty and gossip and I dont want to hurt anyone feelings (if that would happen at all).
If I worked in seperate departments it would be different but we dont have that here. Most of the females here that i dont talk to outside of work would only come to be nosey since thats how they are.

that is used only to label the fact that you want to remove Christianity into our lifes..it is a word that is used to label anyone that disagrees with the fact that we are accountable to God and to religion, how do you become athesists? I don't understand..but this word is just fear mongering so as an excuse to remove God and Jesus in our daily life
Well if you must be so shallow why don't you just listen to what has to be said by Jesus he only teaches what we need in life.

I have an interview tomorrow. I have two really nice suits, a Red one that is smooth in texture, and a Light Green tweed one. The red one fits better. Is it too bold to wear red to an interview as long as my shoes are tan and I'm not in all red? The interview is for a receptionist in an upscale medical practice.

Hi YA.

I was raised a good Christian, but since I've went to University I've been exposed to many sinful and dangerous things. I recently became involved with some guys who seemed alright at first. We got on pretty well, but then they broached the subject of homosexuality. Turns out they're all gay!. Needless to say I was pretty shocked by this turn of events. They tried to lure me into their disgusting web of sin, but I refused and went to leave. Then they threatened me with black magic if I didn't meet their demands. Of course I refused, and that night I prayed extra hard.

Next morning I woke up and my door was all covered in blood, so I immediately went to the local church where I am now. What should I do? If I don't give in, then they'll continue to use their satanic power against me, if I do I'll be damning myself to Hell!

I wish God would give me some answers.

For the last year, I prayed and prayed that my friend, who was sick with brain cancer, would recover. We lost touch for a little less than a year, and I was afraid the worst had happened. I prayed every single day that he would not only call me again (we lived far apart), but that he would be healed.

Yesterday, I got an e-mail from him. He is doing spectacular (the doctors are shocked he is doing this good considering the sickness) and he called me. He sounded wonderful.

God answered all of my prayers yesterday. I never lost my faith, but started to doubt. I now realize that God is with me no matter what happens, and in the end, I might still be surprised (or shocked for that matter).

*Big smiles*

This is a serious question of just wanting to know what you personally think about ”Hell”.

Is it a physical place, a state of being, or just the knowledge of what you could have had?
Does it even exist?

But most importantly, why do you believe this? Because your preacher, parents, or other told you so? Or is your own personal logic?

There are no right or wrong answers, I just want to know what you believe in.

The two great commandments are to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love our neighbor like we love ourselves, yet most are so self centered that they are incapable of love. Jesus said “Judge not, that ye be not judged,” in Mat 7:1, yet people are judged all the time.

He also said “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” in John 3:17, but people want to condemn more than they want to lead to the savior.

What’s up with that? Do we not realize that we were all dead in our sins, yet God had mercy on us? Should we not also show mercy?

In this piece, laden is demanding Pakistan basically do what he says. And Pakistan says "No". Isn't this more proof that Muslims ARE fighting back and trying to get the crazy extremists headed by him to stop? Pakistan is no role model, but at least it has the guts to come right out and tell him he has no control over them.

So what do you think of Muslims taking this action? Is it still not good enough? I mean, first there was "none speak out" and when we proved that, then it was "b b b b but that's one country", and we proved it was the world over. Now it's "why not take action" and you can see from this piece that action is being taken.

I know it's not good enough for those who just want to hate. This is in no way geared towards everyone, for I know not everyone is as ignorant as this. How does this make you feel?

Is there an accepted way to signify that I'm not full of BS or tyring to offend and/or subtly try to attack their beliefs/lack thereof?
