I saw a ball once. It rolled by itself. I thought it was an angel, but it turned out to be the wind blowing a whiffle ball around the parking lot at Wal-Mart.

Do you mean no mention of the Loch Ness monster or unicorns or aliens? How to know it wasn't a misinterpretation of a sight you're not familiar with? On the other hand, if I saw any of those, it would be a religious experience for me!
But, to answer your question, I suppose I believe what I see. If I did have an experience with any of those or a ghost, I'd probably believe it was psychological so I don't think I would automatically believe what I see, actually. However I definitely don't believe something I've only heard about and have never seen. Like unicorns, I've only heard stories about God.

Neither. My brain has played tricks on me before, so there is a process to prove the authenticity of something before it, to me, is real.

Neither.
I see and I analyze using my mind.
If what I see doesn't make sense then it doesn't make sense.
