continual and daily repentance -- hopefully not because you have committed any great sins, but repenting from the good things you didn't do.
Don't repent and forget (forget to guard against sin).
Be righteous in all that you do till your last breath.
Become good and stay good.
Don't justify sin today to repent tomorrow because today may be the end (at least for you).

It means 1 of 2 things:
Either endure till the end of one's life.
That means enduring as a christian, despite all negative influences.
OR
It means enduring till the end of this system of things .....some people refer to it as the end of the world, but that is a poor way of saying it.
However, God promises to intervene in men's affairs AND SOON.
Therefore if we endure as a christian, despite all negative influences till that moment comes .....hey! We've endured to the end.

It means to be faithful and to follow Christ until the end of our lives. Only those who endure to the end will be saved.
Jesus' own words refute the concept of "once saved, always saved" because if a person was "always saved", there would be no need to "endure to the end".

In my bible it says preserve until the end, but it means the same thing. To keep moving ahead with your work being a faithful witness, doing good deeds until you die, never giving up, never letting go and always doing your best to live in Christ. No matter how difficult it is, no matter how hard your trials are, no matter what other people make you feel,or think of you. Remembering through out it all that it is not in vain. Preserve until the end until your last breath.
