Why do religions and society treat sex like it's a taboo subject if it's necessary in the continuation of life and one of the foundations of love?

What does the Bible say about sex and lust?

Though I very strongly doubt prayers have any effect whatsoever, I know the people offering them mean well, so I just smile politely. You?

Don't worry, you won't have to read any further than the first few sentences, and it may answer some questions regarding why certain religions adhere to certain dogma.

I know some of you will say, um because he didn't. But really the theory that "Jesus never exsisted." is realatively new. I first came across this claim about 6 years ago when I was 18. I have read various scholarrly essays and papers that claim he never exsisted.

Since 6 years ago the popularity of this claim seems to be rising. BTW, I know this has been a "claim" for a long time its popularity is more recent however.

So the reason? Because they realize if they admit that Jesus of Nazareth in fact exsisted, then the most logical and ratonal conclusion to the identity of Jesus is that He is the Son of God. Since they can not accept that they simply claim he did not exsist despite the evidence to the contrary.

The VAST majority of historical scholars believe that Jesus of Nazareth exsisted.

As a psychotherapist, I know what the clinical definition of homosexuality is a person who is attracted sexually, emotionally to their own gender INSTEAD of the opposite gender.. They are put simply the polar OPPOSITE of heterosexual. Homosexuality, heterosexuality and bisexuality are sexual orientations that exist along a continum. They can usually manifest as early as pre-puberty ( I know MANY of us have met children and just KNEW) and is not a conscious CHOICE.

Homosexuality is not a BEHAVIOR just like heterosexuality is not a behavior. It is not the SEXUAL ACT that makes you gay or straight. There are homosexuals who are virgins but identify as gay. Now this is what vast majority of professionals in my field who rely on UNBIASED, objective research over the 70+ years on the subject know as facts.

However, I see repeatedly on R&S certain Christians expressing a view contrary to medical research. You describe homosexuality as a behavior, addiction or habit.

Trivia?

How many children did Adam and Eve have? What were their names?

What was the name of Abraham's SECOND wife?

When Jacob and Esau were in their mother's womb (they were twins), they kicked a lot and the mother asked why they fought so much inside her ( for that is what it felt like) what did God say about this?

Yeah, I didn't think so either. It’s an outlandish statement.

From just this morning, I can think of two particular questions that made that direct accusation. It's about as respectable as when Christians claim that all atheists secretly think God exists but just won't admit it.

Why must we project our own thoughts and beliefs on others? Is it that hard to accept someone coming from a different viewpoint, that we assume they must just be lying about what they believe?
