cause Asians like white guys. It's true, there are black and Asian couples, but a lot of Asians are mildly racist towards black people.

It's possible.

I've heard and seen a lot of stuff on tv that would suggest that in Asian countries, a more western/white look is becoming the latest trend with plastic surgery. It's possible that racially speaking, there is an appeal to being white or at least looking white. As such, this could mean there is a bigger appeal in asia for being with white people.

However, it's just possible it's just something like people being more interested in people outside their race but not having the opportunity to meet more black people than white people. Thus they settle (for lack of a better word) for being with a white partner. I think it's becoming a bigger trend these days to be more interested in people outside your race, at least from what i've seen people say online, from tv shows and so forth.

I visited China a couple years ago (I am caucasian dating an asian girl) and I was astounded at the attitude towards black people there. It was almost superstition there because I believe they have been so far removed for so many years from black people. It was very much looked down upon for an asian woman to date a black man. Almost unheard of.

Just be proud of who you are. You're beautiful!

It doesn't matter. It's your choice.

Here's Your Answer...Most Asians consider being light skinned to be beautiful. In the Asian countries today they have many soaps/products that bleaches/lightens skins. Models/Actresses promote them also.

Lets go back to history, traditionally back in the old days Asians that were wealthy were kept in houses while servants/farmers/workers worked out in the sun and got tanned they were considered a lower class. During the course of history through discovery, world war II and during those times many whites (light skinned) visited the Asian countries many of them considered to be rich. Many made their mark those asian women and most of them are more affectionate than their asian male.

Personally, I don't care because I was born & raised in the USA. But visited many Asian countries.

I"ve seen quite a bit mixed black asians. I guess there are much less blacks than whites so people are more likely to be mixed with asian and white.

Asians tend to view whites in america as rich and there white skin is culturlly glorified, blacks are seen as foreigners just like them and know little about blacks and dark skin is looked down on.

But some do not feel this way.

A kid I knew growing up: father was black and mother was asian (from Singapore)
You can most definitely attribute issues with race to lack of exposure. But I'm starting to see more couples, especially in the largly urban areas.
