to obey Jesus commands? To qualify for Babtism shouldn't a person be old enough to understand God's word and exercise faith? Wouldn't a baby being Babtised really know what was happening enough to make a conscience decision?
Wasn't Jesus and John the Babtist 30 when they began their ministry and was Babtised?

They say that the universe is only 6000 or 10000 years old. Now that is impossible to think unless every star in the sky is less than 6000 light-years away. But astronomers know that some celestial bodies are millions and even billions of light-years away.

So for creationists to claim that the universe is only 6000 years old is to claim that the whole scientific field of astronomy is wrong. So not only are they claiming the fields of evolutionary biology, geology, anthropology and many other fields of science are just wrong but also poor little astronomy as well.

I'm glad I've never met one.

If Christians do not abide by the OT laws concerning shrimp then why do they quote them concerning Homosexuality ?

I mean, He's supposedly taking our punishment upon Himself to spare us (and satisfy the Father's wrath), so logically He should be suffering the same punishment we would have gotten! Instead, he just gets scourged and crucified - not a walk in the park by any means, but certainly not a punishment equal to eternal Hell...

For instance, I always wondered why the human race have this common form of mentality where they often hesitate to accept changes or differences. For example: when blacks and irish people were slaves in the past for years, why did it takes years for the execution of Jews to stop. However, the most recent is the on going confortation between the Palestians and the Isrealies for years. Seemly, it seems that many people believe that is it alright to follow crowd; therefore, I always wondered why it has been like this since the beginning of time. However, all of these factors mentioned, does this worry you and how often?

I believe in God with all my heart and pray multiple times a day for help/ thanks and forgiveness. The thing is the bible says to be baptised under water "renewal" so on and so on.... But it also says that if you repent and believe in me you will have eternal life. Will I still be accepted if I am not baptised?

My uncle has for years, he's in show biz. He is 80 years old and has tight skin with no wrinkles! They cast him in 40 year old parts! Oh well... each to their own. LOL
