They say that the universe is only 6000 or 10000 years old. Now that is impossible to think unless every star in the sky is less than 6000 light-years away. But astronomers know that some celestial bodies are millions and even billions of light-years away.

So for creationists to claim that the universe is only 6000 years old is to claim that the whole scientific field of astronomy is wrong. So not only are they claiming the fields of evolutionary biology, geology, anthropology and many other fields of science are just wrong but also poor little astronomy as well.

I'm glad I've never met one.

Christians believe in astronomy, just not some of the conclusions that science has come up with about it.
The stars and the galaxies were stretched out in the sky by God, according to the Bible.

If God created the heaven and the earth, as it states in Genesis, why could He not create light already en route to little planet Earth?

I hadn't thought of that argument before. But the Creationists don't care about science, anything against the bible just HAS to be wrong.

Hi, NE, my handle is MamaBear, and I'm a Creationist.

Now, we have "met".

I do NOT believe that astronomy is COMPLETE skebala.

Please don't spout off about beliefs you personally do not hold, as you will probably get it wrong. Again.

Sigh.

Most of them claim SCIENCE is wrong. And go on to make coffee in their scientifically designed DEVIL machine...

Or drive to work in their scientific CAR, created by the satanic evil people who study things and do not assume they already know EVERYTHING.

The data itself would not easily bypass away any room for debate. people who declare otherwise the two lack wisdom of the data, or wilfully refuse to renowned the apparent conclusions that such data factors to. needless to say, between genuine biologists, there are none who're uneducated. The latter classification are especially uncommon between credible scientists besides. they ought to hotel to stating park rangers as sources, besides as merely mendacity, because of the fact the reality is that the medical community reaches their conclusions based on the data.
