have kids... go to church... and coach the softball team... does that make you straight? Does it make you a better person if you just keep your sexuality a secret... and "hook-up" on the side?

No, you can't become straight. Anymore then you can become gay. You are either one or the other. Keeping your sexuality secret makes you liar to yourself and others. Marrying someone to fake being something your not is cruel. Because you can't keep it a secret forever and the marriage will end in divorce. You shouldn't marry someone if your heart isn't truly in it.

It seems like your asking if it's okay to pretend to be straight and be gay on the side. Which is cheating anyway. Come on. A question like that shouldn't even have to be asked.

If you "hook up" on the side, you broke your promise to your spouse and are no better than any common cheater. That does not make you a better person.

You're a better person if you can control your emotions and desires. You should be strong and smart enough to control your body.

I don't think it does because in doing so u'd have to lie to so many people, including the person u married, which wouldn't feel good even if u had no feelings for her. It'd jus be unhealthy.

No because if you're lying to yourself, you will never be happy. Always, ALWAYS be true to yourself inside and out.
