Nope I am a mutt I have English, German and French in me. Wow three nations that have never gotten along and I end up being part of all three!! lol =) In the south there are people with all and every type of background from Scottish, to Japanese, to Russian. So yes there are Scotts in the South. There are a few English here in Kentucky that I have met.

Born in New England, I live in Florida now. Not a Scot, but going to the Tattoo next year. I look forward to watching some Scots wrestle the bagpipes.

I haven't been, but I hear they do the Highland Games in Middleburg FL every year. That just sounds like a must see, if I could get 5 burly Scots to escort me. You know someone would have to make a crack about the rednecks getting beat by "sissies in skirts" and I'd have to bust out laughing. The melee that would ensue would be epic. Legendary, even.
I hate rednecks. Bring more Scots!

Yes I am Scottish, Irish and Welsh. And I was born in Colorado. Now live in Missouri. And see Scottish in our parades. They wear their kilts and the like. So I am partially Scottish but close enough. And am very happy with it. What nationality are you? Let us in on the secret. Thank you.

I am part Scottish. But then I am part a lot of things....so that must make me a mutt...ha.

My family came from the mid-west and then eastern states. Now I live in Texas.

Nope, my parents were from Finland. They moved to northern Michigan, then we moved to Delaware and now I live in S.E. Virginia. I do believe I read someplace that the Scots did head for the south early on.
