Same reason some people are naturally happy and others are not. Happiness, sadness, they both originate in the mind. A clear conscience may be mistaken for God when not understood. At that point, when one states it is God, or, that they found God, they have stopped asking questions. It's merely a step on the path but one most stop at.

I didn't "suddenly" or automatically feel better. For me it happened over a period of time. I was in a clinical depression, husband left me with a 9 month old, work wasn't going well, no money I hit bottom. Found a Christian support group of people who were alcoholics, co-dependent, compulsive gambler, one even accessory to murder after the fact. They had all turned their lives around. I thought wow, if God accepts them, then he must accept me. I joined a church and met some great people who helped with child care while I worked. My job got better and I earned more money. I saw God's hand in everything that happened(and continue to do) I guess for me I always had to be in control, and my life was so out of control, I had no where else to go. I surrendered everything to God saying "I can't do this(life)on my own anymore". Keep trying it will come. surround yourself with good Christians and you'll find material things you thought were great, will be meaningless and values you thought were foolish, become important. God Bless you

When I try to make my seven yr. old nephew understand a little about Christ I explain it like this: God is like a huge star that has exploded, and each of us has a little bit of that light inside of us. So may that's why, some us are just discovering our light within.

When you truly accept God into your life and soul you are filled with His spirit. There is a sense of happiness that comes over a person but it doesn't mean their lives will be problem free.

that is attainable to truly sense happy for a guy or woman; whether situations in our very own lives would shrink the happiness we sense for others. i do no longer choose to be speedy to choose you my self and say you're relatively jealous whether; it purely would desire to be which you think of you deserve greater advantageous than what you have and you mesure your self against people fairly than comparing your very own situations. As for a woman/guy accepting or rejecting a thought has greater to do with that guy or woman than the only sending the belief. wish love is around the corner for you :)

Not a clue. Doesn't really seem to last though for most people...they seem just as frustrated, angry, depressed, sad, etc... as anyone else.
Except me, I'm pretty even keel all the time. I think it's hormonal as well. My BF is a depressive and has enough moods for both of us, but meds really help her.
