I dont believe people can talk to the dead but I am confused about what is going on here. Is it an evil spirit,the witch tricking Saul, God, or is Saul dreaming or tripping? I find alot of things disturbing about this whole book. What are your ideas?

I dont have a social life nor am i around any ppl. We are renting out one of our rooms right now. Someone came to check it out tonight... He was 21 years old happy and filled with life and positive vibes! Well i sorta sat there and zoned out thinking to myself..."Why is this person so happy" and then it hit me ... im really screwed up and i desperately need to get some antidepressants. I wish god could change me ... give me a life worth living .. i once was a very happy person. filled with life and positive energy ...but its gone now. After being hurt by your own parents/friends and extended family you just lose all hope and soon no longer know what it feels like to be happy.

In John 15:5 Jesus says : " If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing"

Which is the ONLY verse BY JESUS (not by others, if any) in the Bible that tells us how to "remain" in him and what does it say?

I have done "love spells" in the past and they have worked. Or so I thought. The last guy I did one on became obsessed with me and could not leave me alone. I have also cast spells to make me get certain jobs that I know otherwise, I would not have gotten. These "spells" seem to work. but this last guy I was with, I tried to cast a love spell on him to bring him back and it did not work....at all. Now I know this sounds stupid but I want to know if these spells really worked for me in the past or was it just a coincidence. Was it bound to happen anyways and it had nothing to do with a spell? Why did my "spell" seem to have worked on one guy but not the other..... I am asking people who have done some form of magick. Please I do not want any jokes or negative comments. I mean are spells really real or am I just a loon tune to believe in this stuff

Right now I decided something.
I get on here a couple nights a week. Every night, I go mostly to sports, health family & relationships and then finish up my YA voyage right here at R&S. But when I enter, I can feel the hate before I even open the questions. And it's not just atheists, it's also Christians.

Before I continue let me say, I am a Methodist. I can tell some of you are judging because of that. Some say, "Good!" and others say, "Not another one..." But I say, can't we get along? It's true I'll admit, most of my best friends are Christian. That may just be coincidence.

But let me tell you, if I had to choose between some of the bigoted Christians and the Atheists in R&S, well, I would have to say that me and some atheists are going out for drinks Saturday.

So, I guess this isn't a question, but, let's stop fighting and start finding out other peoples opinion before we start killing each other. Because it's not until you know other's opinions that you truly know your own.

My mom has no job, no man, she is overweight, she lives with her parents, got pregnant in highschool twice and now has three kids. She yells and thats all I hear from her. If I want to talk to someone It is either my granparents or a counsoler. I cant talk to her becuase she never gets it. She says Im an ungrateful brat when I try to tell her something that happens at school or with a friend. I feel maybe I am a brat and maybe I deserve something bad to happen to me.I hurt myself I stop eating anything that cuases pain. I feel like I deserve noting but it. I havnt told anyone about it becuase I will look like a freak. But I feel thats the only way to punish myself for being hateful toward my mom.

How would you feel? Just imagine it. If you cannot, do you realize you cannot out of fear? I don't care if you believe you are wrong or not, thats for your ego to hold on to. I care if you can even do it and feel "being wrong" and what it would be like.

If you cannot, if you cannot except being wrong, you live in fear and how will you ever not fear death if you cannot even fear being wrong?

See so many people eating like this and it looks down right slovenly and low class. Even people on the food channel eat like this. They eat with their mouths wide open and keep shoving it in and laugh and yell out loud so crudely as if the audience enjoys watching them eat like with such disrepect for the food and the people preparing it. Do other people out there notice the lack of good table manners on TV and elsewhere?
