I was reared in a very agrarian family. I spent most all my childhood, on a farm. I have never been happier! It is the life I would love to have now but, hubby is a city boy, all the way!

So, he puts me in fancy neighborhoods and I grow gardens and do all manner of gardening! You can take the gal out of the country but, you cannot take the country out of the gal!

Yes, I am a country girl. We live down a red dirt road with our dog, 6 cats, and sometimes a possum or racoon drop by. We joke about being out here on the farm. I'd love to live on a "real" farm or ranch. I think I'm really a cowgirl at heart.

I sure am. I might be living in a city right now, but I was born and raised in the country and no one can take that away from me. Like John Denver said, Thank God I am a country girl..

Yes in deed. I was raised on a farm in Indiana, and had a garden for years when I was married. We lived in the woods. Oh how I miss it all. When I was married, we lived on a huge dairy farm for years. I miss riding my horses. Now I live in a gated adult community but still sort of in the country. I spent many years in big cities but you know what they say..." you can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl." That's me.

I'm the first generation off of an Indiana chicken farm.

I can't have a vegetable garden where I live and I miss it. I've grown fruits and vegetables for years.

I miss the peace and tranquility, the birds, bees, wildlife and, most of all, the clean air.

Think I'm going to have to make a journey back before long!

Indubitably!. Give me the mountains and canyons with all the wild life nature can toss my way. I even liked the puma in my back yard and the skunks on my sleeping bag. It's so much better than the concrete jungle.

Yes, that's me. I'd so much rather be in a quiet area where I can hear the sounds of nature than in a city with trains running nearby, police and ambulance sirens going all the time, and too much dang traffic.

Yep. Love the woods and the mountains, rivers. Wish for a back yard that isn't a yard and just goes off in to the woods.
