Through God's Grace you must become as one who can never be ruled, simply because you don't need law. You must become as one who cannot be seduced to rule. You must become one who can breed this marvelous quality of freedom in your family. For without GRACE, a person is led to the many lawless "freedoms" that eventually demand restraint, and the spirit that leads to all these false freedoms rises from the pit as reformer. Only one who is perfectly free has the authority to set others perfectly free from that prison system of law and lawlessness

You must seek the way that is Truly FREE!
There's only One who have promises that and can set Men truly FREE!
His NAME is JESUS!

I know it is not proven either way whether any particular version of god actually exists. Just imagine that you found out that god did not.
Don't give me a "god DOES exist, I know it" answer. I'm asking you to IMAGINE. Yes, it is a hypothetical question. If you don't want to imagine, just simply don't answer the question. No one's forcing you to do anything. I also would not like to get "why are you singling out Christians" answers or "why don't YOU imagine there IS a god" answers. Please address the question.

What would you think? What would your life be like then? How would you feel? Would you be able to continue with your life without a god?

The writings in the Bible came 40-100 years after his death making it not a likely accurate source. Is Jesus like Hercules just a man that was glorified until he became a god? The writings of Josephus have been proven as false, and faith is not an appropriate answer (my mother told me when I was very young Jesus wrote the Bible and still believes that to this day.) I would like evidence for and against his existence and appreciate everyone that reads over the answers to look at evidence for and against with rational thought and reason. Feel free to IM me to continue any further discussions on the subject.

i have lived in america for 29 years i am a good muslim but, i dont know how to read arabic . my question is can i read the english version of the quran is it the same as reading it in arabic or does that not count . the reason im asking is they say during ramadan u have to read the whole quran, so is it the same

People always want to rush through life and not stop and count the many blessings and friends and love ones that they have all around them. And then when those friens and loved ones are gone, then they realize how special those people are in their lives and they regret so much that they didnt say or didnt do, because it is to late to correct the wrong. We all take time our for a moment of silence, for our Troops (God Bless them), and for those that have lost their lives for our country, but we never take a moment and sit back and think and realize how special someone is in our life, or how that person has made us feel in the past and the good that they have brought into our lives. I Challenge all who read this, to stop for a few minutes and think about all the important people in ur life, and realize how much u love them and how much they love u, and send them an email telling them thanks for just being there when u needed them. God Bless you alll.....

..............about religion, God, Jesus, etc if they don't believe in any of it? It doesn't make any sense to me that so many are badgering christians yet Y!A has a huge variety of topics that they could go to. Why are they so fixated on christians? I would think that if a person did not believe in something, they'd move onto something they do believe in to put all their energy into. I AM a believer and I feel so sorry for those that aren't. future are not respected near as much if at all. I know doctors are great and do help us alot but so do the teachers and day care providers just as much but in a different way. Does it have to do with the education they have or the money the doctors make? If so that is just not right to respect someone just becasue of their money they have.

Since school started the last few weeks I didn't really think about God much, I guess because I have no time. Any way I was feeling really awful for a while for no reason, and then yesterday I realized I haven't prayed in a while, so last night I did and I had a surprisingly good day today. I feel really guilty because I was almost doubting whether God exists until I realized He was answering my prayers.

Why do some people think that life would be horrible if there were no god? I mean, no "personal god", not the god of pantheism.
I'm not asserting here that "there is no god" because I don't know either way and neither does anyone else know with certainty..
I'm asking why even the mere thought of there being no god is intolerable to some people.

My husband say he is preacher, but he treats me like dirt. He pays no bills and say he is leaving. Does God not deal with his conscience? How can he not fear God? I have done nothing to deserve this. If I leave because of his emotional abuse, would I be wrong?

It is true that someone wrote something like that, or at least it got translated like that in some editions of the Bible, but how does "having dominion" give one the right to abuse animals? That interpretation makes about as much sense as the interpretation that the Constitution means individuals have a right to own and kill each other with guns.
