In my view it's MORE important to read the Quran in the language that you do understand. People who only read the Quran but don't know what they are reading cannot really concentrate on anything; their mind is usually elsewhere. If you don't know how to read the Quran, the best thing is to get a CD with both Arabic recitation (so that you can enjoy its qirat/rhythm) and English translation, verse by verse. Listening to it is the same as reading it; whether through your eyes or your ears, it's getting through to you. And that's what's important. It also has the convenience that you can listen to it while driving to work.

Yes, you can read the English version and will do exactly the same; however on the other hand you need to start learning Arabic as you need it during prayers.

Yes,it is ok to read the english version for now but later in life, try to catch up on arabic and read the arabic version of Al-quran.now another thing is dear, try to comprehend what is told inside Al-quran cause that is also God commandment that needed to be abide.Just like 10 commandment carried by prophet moses but only more clearer. To read and not to understand is foolish, later on a non muslim asks you "are you a muslim?"yes,"have you read the Alquran?" Yes,fully,"what did God trying to tells us in the book"Umm.......I just read but I really doesn't understand it."Good, then it will be easier to convert you, prior to your lacks of knowledge and foolishness"
