Why ask us?
Maybe you should be asking God.
Just ask tonight before you fall asleep.
Then just keep your mind still and listen. You may be in for a big surprise.
Email if it works.
Love and blessings Don

I know what you mean. Sometimes I slack off on my daily prayers. After a while, I too feel spiritually "run down", I too think it has everything to do with me not praying regularly.
I think, for a lot of people, they don't realize just how present God is in their lives - until he goes away for a little while. (God doesn't really go away. He just makes it feel that way). Why does God do that?
To keep us on our toes and aware of His Reality; His Presence.
Yeah, I do think God was trying to send you a message; the same one He sends me quite often, "Stop sleeping at the switch and pray regularly."

Absolutely! God sends us messages all the time through signs and other ways, mostly through other people. The funny thing is that we usually don't understand that God is sending us a sign until after it already happens.
God is a Mystery, just like people are mysteries in themselves. A mystery is something or someone that we can never really fully understand but continually reveals itself in various and unforseen ways. The more time you spend with someone and talk with someone, the better you get to know that person. The same with God, the more time you spend with God and talk to Him, the more you will get to know him and love Him. The more time you spent with a person, the more you get to know that person, and the more you can love that person. With God, prayer is the form that we use to converse with God.
When you are praying, you don't even need to talk, you can just be silent in God's presence. As long as you set time aside for God and prayer, you will find yourself more at ease and more in love.

You shouldn't have to think about prayer...just do it. It doesn't have to be anything dramatic, you just say a few things in your head as you lay down....yes, he was reminding you that he is there always....the next time you are having a bad day, try finding the good things in it....pray anytime you want hun. You don't think all the people the world over thought about prayer on 9/11 do you, we just did it, we prayed because at times, the only thing one can do is pray.

Well the funny thing is God already knows your requests before you have already asked for them.
Next thing is catholics are Christians.
Next thing is when we have become more realized in our needs and wants we become more conscious of them and we see the opportunities more and see an opening, I think God sometimes rests our minds , so we can be more in the present and not be so self involved.
Prayer/meditation allows us to become in the full circle of life...being in the moment and finding the light within you.

amazing isn't it?! wonderful isn't He!! don't let the guilt get to you but do let it remind you -- God IS always with you. you're actualy very lucky that you already have a relationship with God at your age - many people "think" they have faith but it isn't until they walk away from Him in much grander scale. I am so happy for you - you know HIm in your heart andhow He can work in your life - if only you let Him.
may God continue to bless and keep you and may you continue to keep Him close in your mind & heart.
PS -- Catholics are Christians - just like Baptists, Protestants, etc - they are just different denominations :)

I know what you mean. I too started school the last few weeks. It's sad, but it seems we only pray when we are in need. Doesn't matter, because God is always there and always waiting for us.

You don't need time to think about god, you just do while you walk, while you drive your car, in your coffe or lunch break. God is everywhere, so there is no place where you can't think about him. Many of us doubt from time to time, and the answer will always be in your heart, just like it was this time

Yes He is. Girl, He wants a relationship with you. He wants you talk to Him and just be His child.
I suggest u get grounded in a Chuech and Youth group. You can email me if u wanna talk more.
God will always be there for you! once you completely give Him your life He will be in control and you will never be alone.
Don't give up on Him, He'll NEVER give up on you!
Continue to pray and read the Bible.....may I suggest 1st. Corinthians? or Psalms? God bless you..]......keep your focus on Him, make time for Him.
