This can be on any aspect of life, knowledge, anything. Please don't say The Bible (if you're Christian), Quran (if Muslim) etc. What text *other than your main religious text*?

Oh, and if you're atheistic, agnostic, non-theistic, etc. what's yours, too?

that i am caught by a Police officer for speeding. I tell him "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone" and while he preparing his ticket with a expressionless face, i take out my Bible and start reading Luke 6:37 loudly
“Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: FORGIVE, and ye shall be FORGIVEN”

Would it be a Sin?

Some men would lust after women if they wore potato sacks. It's not even always about clothing. A guy could have a lustful thought just because a woman smiled at him. Why are we the ones at fault?

As I was paying for gas this morning at the corner convenience store, I noticed that they had a new tip jar on the counter. I think that this has gotten way out of control. Business owners encourage this, because they see it as a way to guilt the customer into supplementing their employees' salaries. It's not so bad when it involves some kind of service outside of just ringing up purchases, but it gets under my skin to be expected to tip just for the service of someone taking my money. The sandwich shop where I sometimes eat lunch is a good example. If you drop a tip in the jar, you get your sandwich cut in half, and offered a plate. Skip the tip jar once, and the next time, you get handed a wrapped sandwich, and no offer of a plate. I would like to hear both sides. I'm not close-minded.

Why do some people say they are Christian but can't explain the bible?

No the questions don't have anything to do with each other.

Without making any previous assumptions, do you think that it is possible that god is imaginary and that religion is a waste of time (OPEN to the possiblity, not necessarily what you belive now). I'm not trying to attack, just curious to see what you think.

Hebrew scholars have known for centuries that the first 5 books of the bible were not written by Moses but rather by 4 individual authors and, through the study of the language, they can even say in which century and kingdom each author lived. None lived in the time of Moses.

If the church honestly didn't know who wrote them, why should these books be considered reliable?

Side note: Please don't simply claim that Moses was in fact the author. Autobiographies don't usually contain descriptions of the author's death. This is a serious question.

so have been out of University for the past year. I have been given two options for possible return: One, I apply to the Board of Examiners asking them to let me repeat my second year. but this decision also has to be made by the Vice Chancellor.

Or two they let me remain a "student out of residence" and simply sit my exam part next year but I'll get no financial funding more than likely which would make life difficult for me.

Essentially I want to be able to return as an official student and repeat my second year [the first option ]. Does anyone know of any spells I can cast to allow this to happen?

Please do not ask me to pray or turn to GOD, as I am not a Christian and am simply interested in white magic spells.

1Timothy 6:1416 says, "that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ's appearing, which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable ight, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen."

Jesus is God, but God has never been seen in His unapproachable light but will be manifested in his own time. This why the bible says many will be slained at the brightness of His (Jesus ) coming.

The Bible says "What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder" (Matthew 19).

Then why is it that Protestants are allowed to remarry in their church? Is there any verse in the Bible saying so?
I need to understand.

This is a serious and respectul question. Thank you for serious and respectful answers.
