The better question is: if they DID have empirical evidence, would they still be as insistent that "proof" was irrelevant if you have faith?

straightforward. it incredibly is sparkling from the commencing up that the only observable data related to God's existence is human statements related to God. Then study what the supplies of stated statements are. After that, it incredibly is sparkling that all and sundry such statements concern from nowhere different than human mind's eye. At that element it incredibly is not tenable to advise that God exists previous the assumption. it incredibly is the technique everyone is going by way of in determining regardless of if some thing's imaginary- they only make exceptions at times the place they opt for to. the technique is in many circumstances not a wide awake psychological attempt- make it wide awake and specific.

I'm a nonbeliever and I wish there was empirical evidence of God. That would at least answer the question.

Absolutely NOT. If there was evidence then there would be no need for faith. Of what value would be belief in God if it were the same as believing that there is earth under out feet or stars in the universe?

Yes, sure do! It would be nice to have the Almighty around to answer the question of who the true successor to Mohammed should have been, right?

But I have empirical evidence of God. I could tell you stories about how He has done things for me, but you wouldn't listen.
Ask Him yourself.

Heh, looks like theists don't understand what "empirical" means.
Not surprising; science is one big conspiracy created by the devil after all.

There is, it's called love.
I can't prove that love exist.
I don't think I have to.
Faith is overrated.
Between existing and loving and needing love many feel God to be self evident.
It would seem that there's much to consider when one thinks of how alone you are with your thoughts and how many parts you can play in your mind as you build your opinions but all those random thoughts or voices are yours.
"I think therefore I am."
“I am that I am.”
“I am.”
Perhaps we are all God.
What if we are all finger puppets to a single being that wants the experience of observing itself from different perspectives?
Just a notion.

There is, but people reject such evidence.
Your existence, as well as that of the matter of the universe.
It all had a beginning, and science is unable to explain otherwise.
In other words, creation requires a creator.

26 Now a week later his disciples were again inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, although the doors were locked, and stood in their midst and said, "Peace be with you."
27 Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe."
28 Thomas answered and said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
29 Jesus said to him, "Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."
