1Timothy 6:1416 says, "that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ's appearing, which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable ight, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen."

Jesus is God, but God has never been seen in His unapproachable light but will be manifested in his own time. This why the bible says many will be slained at the brightness of His (Jesus ) coming.

John 1:1-3

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2He was with God in the beginning.
3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made

Phillipians 2: 6-8

6Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,

taking the very nature[b] of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!

Isaiah 9:6

For to us a child is born,

John 20:28

28And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.

In Revelation, an angel instructed the Apostle John to only worship God (Revelation 19:10). Several times in Scripture Jesus receives worship (Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9,17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). He never rebukes people for worshiping Him. If Jesus were not God, He would have told people to not worship Him, just as the angel in Revelation had. There are many other verses and passages of Scripture that argue for Jesus’ deity.

The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected - proving His victory over sin and death.

The scriptures are plain in what they say. John 17:3: This means everlasting life they are taking in knowledge of you the [ only true God] and of the one whom you [ sent forth] Jesus Christ. Here there is a distinction made between God and his son. The Bible identifies Jesus as not simply a prophet, but the son of God. ( Colossians 1:13-16.)Jesus said that the father is greater than he is (John 14:28) God is a single personage. (Deuteronomy 6:4.) His name is Jehovah (Psalm 83:18.) The Bible also speaks of persons who misinterpret scriptures. ( 2 Pet 3:16)

Jesus is the "physical incarnation" of God. Jesus took human form, so we were looking at a 'disguise' of sorts.

On the second coming, Jesus may not come looking at one of us. Also, remember that when the bible was written, it was written so that people with the technology way back then could understand it. Think of how many meanings 'brightness' could have today. Maybe this brightness is massive amounts of ultraviolet radiation, or something like that.

Jesus is the human representation of God. Jesus is also divine: this he revealed to His disciples before He died in the Transfiguration. So, no, no one has ever seen God in His ultimate form, but we have "seen" God as he is represented in the person of Jesus.

When Jesus comes back, it will be in all His divinity and then we will see God.

Jesus is not God, he is the SON of GOD. It's strange, but I hear a lot of people now a days saying that Jesus is God. I guess more people should read the entire bible to understand better.

Your q is really good, but the answer is while Jesus is God, he still isn't God. Confusing for humans but if you're God you'll get it. Anyway, heaven is also "impossible" (according to logic) imagine a place that goes on forever, where you live forever! But it is true!

Jesus is just one incarnation of god. How did moses see the burning bush and not come back dead. Oh and I think all the people that saw jesus back in the day, well there dead now. Ha interpretation is so liberal.

God is a 'being' who lives in a different universe from ours ... God 'created' our universe and put 'us' here to 'learn' something so that when we 'die' we can go to God's universe and live with and work with him ...
Jesus was not God, but was 'God in human form' made 'human' because God 'mated' with Mary ... God KNOWS that we who are alive here can NOT 'see him' and survive ... but by sending 'God's Son' (who is also a 'part of God' and 'fully God' at the same time) he 'took on a form we could see and not 'die' from it ...
We WILL 'see God' in God's 'true form' after we DIE ... but we won't be 'human' ... our 'spirits' (souls) will take on 'a different form' and THEN we will be able to see 'The REAL GOD' in all of God's splendor.
I find it totally AMAZING that God LOVES US so much that he came to Earth as Jesus Christ to 'save us from our sins' after he realized that only 'some of us' would ever make it to Heaven ... he wants ALL of us, so he came here and was 'murdered' so that His 'death' has 'saved us' from the 'eternal fires of Hell' ... ALL OF US so that 'hell' is now more like Purgatory ... a sort of 'summer school' so the 'evil ones' can LEARN what they didn't learn here, so we can ALL go 'to Heaven' in the end... and I am looking forward to finding out 'the rest of the story.'

First of all.........JESUS IS...not was. (for those who made comments)

Second.....Jesus is 100% God and 100% man.

We are made is God's image.... spirit, soul, body, . Jesus is spirit(100% God) and soul [mind, will, emotions](100% now in heaven with God, and body (100% man). He now has a glorified body which is what all followers of Christ will have when they die and are with the Lord.

He will come in Glory....
