Prominent creation scientist Em Adjineri was studying maps from hundreds of years ago and discovered one common factor: All the maps had pictures of Sea Monsters to warn ship captains.

Sea Monsters ruled the marine food chain, but are no longer anywhere to be found. So what happened to them? They weren't eaten because there were no predators that could eat them.

Why don't we find any sea monsters today? The reason is because they are extinct. According to evolution, the only reason they could have gone extinct is if something changed the environment making it unfit for them. But the environment in the sea hasn't really changed that much in the last few hundred years.

This proves that Sea Monsters went extinct because God decided to kill them all. He was angry at the Sea Monsters for eating humans. Since God killed them, he must have created them too. Therefore, the Bible is literally true.

Hebrews 9:27-28 (NIV)

Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

...just because you've never experienced the same?

For the record, I am not religious. I usually assume people are being a little loopy if they claim to have heard the voice of God. I'm just wondering if it's "fair."

I am an Atheist (As I hope some would know by now) but I was first raised as a Christian...I was baptised, saved (once), had my holy communion, and got the body and soul of Christ every Sunday until my parents got a divorce, I now only get the tasty little wafer and wine when I go to my dads church (he thinks I'm a closet Christian...-_- ew) So the question is for the Christians...even though I do NOT beleive in God, Jesus is Son of God, etc...do I still get into your Heaven since I got all the prerequistives for going? Also, if you need to be saved, baptised, etc. to get into Heaven, what about all the kids who died before they could? Like the stillborns, the ones who died during the hospital, or between birth and baptising, etc., do THEY go to Heaven, even though they were not washed by original sin, or do they go to Hell? And since I was baptised, etc. do I go to Heaven when I die or something? I don't know what happens after I die, but I know Christians do, so I was just wondering

Personally I find it heartwarming to read what this man has been preaching. So kind, so loving.
Is it ANY wonder that christianity is now becoming more and more marginalized?

act of adultery, the very act?

Why didn't the man be brought before Jesus also?

And Jesus wrote in the sand & said, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.". They left.
Jesus asked her, "Woman, where are those thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee?
She said, "No man, Lord.".
Then Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.".

Then Jesus said to them, "I AM the light of the world: He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.".

During a conversation, a priest tried to convince me that God created everything in this world. Finally, I asked him who created GOD; He was upset about such questions. Can anybody inform me in a professional manner who did that job of creating God

I think about it all the time. What are we? What are we doing here? What is all this around us? How did it get here? It is hard for me to believe that we just die and that is it...but nobody really knows. People have ideas and beliefs...but unless you have died you don't know. It is just faith...people are taugh different things. I just wish I knew what happens...

In his latest video, Osama bin Laden urges all Americans to reject democracy and convert to Islam. Well, I can see that happening. Is this guy living in a cave? ... No, bin Laden said he wants Americans to convert to Islam ... because there are no taxes in his world. Which is true. There's also no music, no ice, no books ... and from the looks of bin Laden, no toothpaste or deodorant either
what do you think?

Its in Genesis 6:
There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

Whw were these mighty, famous men, that were also giants? How did god have sons? Who was their mother?

...smartass people respond that you are "clueless" or just make sophomoric, idiotic, uneducated, and/or just plain rude comments simply because you may not agree with their views?

Are the questions they read really that volatile, or are their opinions and viewpoints that important, that anything said contrary on Y/A that volatile?

Let's all embrace different opinions and thought processes people!

I have a paper to write for a class; I am to interview a person who has a role in the Catholic Church. Not being Catholic or knowing anyone in such roles I thought I would post the question here in an attempt to interview someone to help with the assignment.

What Church (city and state also) do you belong to and what is your name / role in the church?
When and why did you become a priest or religious?
What were your happiest and most difficult moments?
What are some of your thoughts about the Sacraments of the Eucharist and Reconciliation?
What is the role of the laity in the Church?

Thanks for your help!
