Personally I find it heartwarming to read what this man has been preaching. So kind, so loving.
Is it ANY wonder that christianity is now becoming more and more marginalized?

That guy is actually a Mormon leader. (I know Mormonism is a sect of Christianity, but most Christians wouldn't consider him a Christian leader.)

Of course, there are plenty of other people who are considered Christian leaders in prison. Kent Hovind is the first one who comes to mind.

Polygamy was accepted in the Old Testament although this is not God's intention for marriage. His law is that one man and one woman shall form one flesh. Polygamy was practiced due to status, the more offspring a man had the more affluent he was. Never the less polygamy caused serious family problems. Just as it did in the story of Hannah and Penniah.

Polygamy is practiced in smaller sects of the Mormon Church. This is not a Christian practice. Anyway he's not one of my leaders, I am a Christian not a Mormon.

I'm not a Christian but I think it just goes to show that everybody is human. Have to admit, it is satisfying to see someone get nailed for doing something they have been preaching against.
As far as that bunch of polygamists - it all boils down to horny older men gettin some from young girls! They try to keep the women uneducated with little contact with the rest of society. Keep 'em in the kitchen and wearing those old fashioned dresses. And the "elders", like Jeffs, literally run the young men out of town once the boys hit puberty. No competition that way.
Doesn't take Freud to fugure that one out.
Like so many things in life it all boils down to sex.

I'm Non_Denominational so its not a great big deal to me- as a Christian.

He is A human Being who is twisted just like a lot of people in this World, religious or not.

All that say Lord are not Saved.

I watched about him on that program and Happy they caught him.
There will be alot that say its the Fundamentalist that still live that way.
My dad is a Mormon and has one wife.

Why would you assume that just because he claims to be a Christian, we would automatically go along with him??? (You know what happens when you assume, right?) If an Atheist blows away 10 people in a liquor story robbery, should we then assume you're a supporter of his? This guy deserves to be in jail. He is not MY leader. I only follow God.

This man is not a Christian leader. I'm not sorry he's going to jail...he should! The only leader I have is Jesus The Christ.

There are false prophets that bring false teachings. Christians should know that.

God Bless.

It is a good thing that bad things are revealed. Jesus said not to trust in regular humans, trust in God.
