Whw were these mighty, famous men, that were also giants? How did god have sons? Who was their mother?

most SAY these are angles...but then why does it not SAY that?
Angles are all over the bible i think if that is what was meant, that is what it would have said.
It is classic Christian form to alter the meaning of words in the bible to force it to fit the view of reality of the day.
"i know what it SAYS...but what that means is..."
Please, if you can, continue to read on in the book, for nothing creates more atheists than the bible.

They were the children of the Fallen angels. Isaiah 14:12, Ezekial 28:13, Matthew 8:29. See Caanites and Philistines. Goliath was one of them. 1st Samuel ,23 and 1st Samuel 21:9.17:4. In Genesis 6:4 the Fallen angels are also called Nephilim a Hebrew word for the people of Canaan. Numbers 13:33 Mighty men meaning warriors Very large framed..Deuteronomy 2:11 The last of them was King Og The Valley of the Giants Hoshua 17:15.

The sons of God mentioned here were angels. They were created by God so they didn't have mothers. Those angels were the fathers of many children who grew to be giants. Those giants were also mean. This was going on right before the flood that Noah and his family escaped. Of course, the angels who had caused so much damage escaped, too, but their wives and children perished. These angels are followers of Satan. Angels have free will, too, and Satan talked a lot of angels into following him instead of God. So it seems that calling somebody an angel isn't necessarily a compliment.

When it says 'sons of God,' these were angels who had children with women. It wasn't all the angels but some of them.
