Ive noticed many people saying they cannot lose their salvation. Hogwash! (pardon the phrase.) Are you going to tell me that you can go "get saved" and then go on a -tri-state murder spree for years, die, and then go to heaven? That is ridiculous.

Consider these verses:

Philippians 2:12 "Therefore, my beloved......work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."

1 Cor. 9:27 "I pummel my body and subdue it, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified"

Why would Paul fear being "disqualified" if he could'nt lose his salvation?

The Catholic answer to "Are you saved?" is this:
"As the Bible says, I am already saved (Rom. 8:24, Eph. 2:5–8), but I’m also being saved (1 Cor. 1:8, 2 Cor. 2:15, Phil. 2:12), and I have the hope that I will be saved (Rom. 5:9–10, 1 Cor. 3:12–15). Like the apostle Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), with hopeful confidence in the promises of Christ (Rom. 5:2, 2 Tim. 2:11–13)

I noted and answer in my first question. And its raised more questions in my mind. The answer stated that there is no mention of Raven in the scriptures. This is true on one hand but on the other the scriptures were not written by north american natives. And therefore there should be no reference to Raven. So bearing that answer in mind here's the questions for part two. Are written scriptures required for a religion ? And if they are can one simply create new scriptures and a relgion based on them ?

Of course only ONE is in control-Our GOD King of the Earth and entire universe...
Before agreeing with hysterical charges, perhaps we should take another look at the future of planet earth. The biblical one...

Stars burn, until they burn themselves out. Their inner processes are driven by physical processes well known to astrophysicists. If a star (like our Sun) grows suddenly cooler or hotter, it must be because of some natural variation, like gravity, gaseous, or electromagnetic changes.
The religion that places its faith in global stability is about to be smashed. Those who look to a green Earth for their salvation are about to be severely tested. Do you see that?

questions to me. I sometimes stay away from social events because from my experience peoples idea of topic for conversation is always a personal one, such as: "You guys have been together for so many years, why aren't you getting married? I am a single mother, and have decided to postpone marriage, for many reasons, which are unreasonable to others and they insist on knowing why. When I say "This is not what I want right now, but may be at some point I will, they tell me that at least I should tell my boyfriend to have some type of life insurance, Even if they are concerned about me I dont care about their concerns, I just dont like being asked those questions. Let's say I am at a gathering, and I am having a nice conversations with a female friend, all of a sudden she takes my friendliness as a license to intrude upon my privacy. Why do people do that and how can I stop it? Is the only way to keep friends is by sharing everything. Ok, so folks, how do you handle? Any tips,

Ok so...im trying to figure out proper ways to act in the working enviroment. Let me just tell the story real quick...I work in a small office.it is a law office.I am also a college student. I pretty much just do the reception work and then I leave a little early to go to school. I pretty much work here bc my step dad is one of the lawyers,the office I wrk at is a small office with just me..the attorney and 2 paralegals. We are pretty close bc we are small and are around eachother all day..our attorney is young and hes fun. we can all joke around...not what you would expect but whatever. I really hate it when people tell me what to do..I mean I really hate it. Always have..I understand it part of my job but a little while ago he was closer to the fax machine than I was and asked if I could fax something for him...he had it in his hand and instead of walking 4 feet he asked me to do it..so I got up and did it..it made me mad. Why couldnt he just do it..I just get so mad

Whenever I see someone on tv who is making a mean, nasty, or degrading comment about a caucasian person, to me what they are really saying is "I don't like white people". Why do we in society find this so acceptable. Do people think that caucasians don't have feelings?? Why is okay to punish people for something that happened years before they were born. Why is this topic never discussed in public forums?? Everyone deserves to be treated with the same kindness as the next person, no matter what color they are!

I live in philadelphia PA and lately on the news they have been doing a report on a school that has been showing third graders a video about same sex parents and children. Now I don't have a problem with homosexuals or couples of same sex relationships having kids. However I am a little upset that if you were a teacher in the school showing this film that the school would deem it acceptible but if you were that same teacher and you said the Lord's prayer in school you would most likely be severely reprimanded. I want to know why is it more acceptible to accept a persons life styles than it is to accept persons religion.

Have you studied this topic? Do you believe the "spirit of antichrist" is already at work to bring "peace without Jesus' leading to the day he will deceive thousands (millions) then demand worship and his true colors (as satan himself) will be revealed when it's too late? believed that technology would turn against us and the world would end. The Santorini have a similar view only they believe only the "wicked" will perish.
