I noted and answer in my first question. And its raised more questions in my mind. The answer stated that there is no mention of Raven in the scriptures. This is true on one hand but on the other the scriptures were not written by north american natives. And therefore there should be no reference to Raven. So bearing that answer in mind here's the questions for part two. Are written scriptures required for a religion ? And if they are can one simply create new scriptures and a relgion based on them ?

Thanks for that information. Now does that mean that the story of raven can be viewed as the basis for native religion ?

The Raven is mentioned in Genises, in the story of Noah.

The raven is also mentioned in Gilgemesh, but thats an OLD, OLD, OLD story that people don't like to talk about that we recovered for the Roeta (sp?) stones, man my spelling sucks.... ether way its about 4 tablets writen in 3 different languanges 2 of which were dead, the other one was an OLD form of greece I believe, but we found that the tablets acualy contained a sort of bible story that pre-dates genis by ooo lets say 2000 years and also contains many, many of the same elements and themes. A big differeces thou was that Gilgemesh is based on a mult-god system, while ares is based on siglar-god system, but the similarities are unbelieveably straking! Ether way don't let the old idea of organized religion keep you away from your own spirtuaility, there not the same. See spirtuality can be religion, but religion doesn't mean spirtuality, think about that one for a minute, lol, after you've read Gilgemesh, quite an eye opening experience..... hard to read thou... again, old, old, old text....

Since asking and answering your own questions make you think it's great. Now do some of it before you open up your mouth and pervert it.
