I have told my sons repeatedly about using such language in front of their kids, and I am succeding in part of that battle...... Kids learn by hearing, to them these words are just that *words* so when my grands speak one of *those* words, I tell them *why* they can not say them and then it is the PARENT I come down on, NOT the child......... I also refuse to let the *adults* speak those words under MY roof....... go in peace.......God bless

Parents that use foul language before their children are setting the worst kind of example for them. Chances are strong that as the children will grow, they will act the same way as their parents had acted.
Such parental practices are not conducive to the teachings of Jesus Christ and will come back on them.

I attempt very no longer ordinary to do away with curses from my vocabulary while i'm around my son, despite the fact that if this is totally no longer ordinary pondering the artwork environment I come from. I artwork in a university for ED boys and that they curse like truckers! i discover myself speaking casually and out will pop the stuff I hear all day. yet, this is a similar with youngsters and that i attempt to be attentive to this around my son. Now I replace each thing with "uh-oh" and my son is asserting that, too. this is plenty extra appropriate then sh#@.

I'm sure those kids are going to grow up cursing, and using it in school too. I think that the parents should defiantly wait until age 9 or so to start listening to it, that way they know it's bad to say, but at least they won't get themselves in trouble at school. I curse at school, but not alot, only when needed, lmao.

They are ignorant in the truest sense of the word. Children learn by example.
