BELIEF is not based on REASON

2007-09-04 06:46:21 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 3 0

The main reason I believe is faith, I have enough faith to believe that God is real and created all, I just couldn't imagine any other way, and yes science proves ways yet there is missing links to connect everything together. However with God there isn't, if you don't believe you can say there is, and thats your opinion, but my faith ties together everything, and helps me believe even more in the powers, and wonders of God.

I don't know if I believe in G-d, but I believe in religion.

Yes it does separate the world, but when I'm in a situation of peril or joy, I need something to believe. I have a community I can rely on as well. I need to be able to have faith in something if I'm about to die. I need something to thank if I am happy.

Though I can relate to the nonbelievers, it's nice to know there is always something I can trust. I hope one day, I'll get some conformation that G-d does or doesn't exist, but until then, I am content with knowing I have a community to back me whenever I need it most.

Warm Regards.

True believers, using their Free Will, DO this:

Create Your Relationship with Our Creator
and have UnConditional Love and Peace in Your Life.

religious believers are non-believers, just like the atheists.

I believe, for example, the sky is blue...because I can see it.
I believe God is a mystery....many say they "know" God, I say they think they do.
Belief in God has no rhyme or reason, it is a condition many human beings subscribe to. Maybe they are right, maybe not, we will all know in the end.

Humilty is one of the main reason. How arrogant and cocky for anyone to think they came in on earth all by themselves. And if it's true you came here all by yourself then how come you have no control over how you got here and no matter what you have to leave here by dieing. Yo have nooooooo control over those things right? So what makes you think you got here without something or some power that's in control of you?

Graced Reason

I believe because of God's Love; for me and all mankind. He allows me to seek and know His knowledge to show me, and others what we could accomplish in and of this world if we would just trust in Him, and only Him.

I've been called by God through Christ. And when He called, I didn't have a choice but to follow...

John 10:16
"I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd."

Be blessed!!

Belief in a higher being is encoded in our DNA. It is a psychological survival mechanism; when all else fails, turn to the Almighty.
