And so on... and he asked me about K, and I cant find any... any suggestions?

There are many things I like about Islam,,,,,,,but there are many I don't.


I don't like how there are rules for everything. And if I don't follow I'm a bad Muslim, From the way I sleep (I'm only to sleep on my right side), the way I eat (on the floor), how I clean myself, the music I listen to (string instruments are banned) every little aspect of life is governed..

Yet at the same time slavery is allowed. Why is it that I can't dye my hair black but I'm allowed to keep slaves. It don't make sense.

Why the little things are so strict but on big issues that really matter, all is allowed?

I really don't think I can follow sunnah and hadith anymore, because it is like everything is banned, and we must copy some way of eating just cos someone 1000 yrs ago did so.

Please help. I still want to be Muslim, but I'm having serious doubts.

I personally think that teaching creation is a waste of time. Just do not understand why so many religious people are afraid of evolution. Why do most insist that creation is based on facts and yet the only source is the bible. Silly if you ask me

could this been done legally? does the queen not sign all acts to make them in to law? how could she be expected to sign a document removing her and her whole family from the crown? further more the military forces are loyal to the crown, if a mp or pm proposed this would our armed forces be split in half? diffrent camps?

I think confession is useless because the religious leader is no better than we are. We are confessing to another human. Isn't that what a therapist is paid for? Or is this just another method to collect money for the church? How can a priest relate to a family or a married couple? How can the church say that gay/lesbian weddings are against God? Do they know God on a personal level? Maybe, they Golf or play bingo with him after Wednesday Mass. Who know? I do know that I REFUSE to par-take in that practice. Unfortunately, I was raised Catholic. Say three hail marys. One Lord's Prayer. And my sins will be absolved after I place the envelope in the basket before me. Amen!
