great question i say man himself mediates because perception of good and evil is for him to decide

Um...maybe Buddha? He was always a good mediator...so maybe him? Wouldn't know, but since I don't believe in the two...I guess that means that it doesn't matter? And since I'm not a believer in God or the Devil, how can that make me the child of something I don't believe in?

If there is the answer would have to be mankind. We are born good but beome, for lack of a better word, evil over time. It's the ones who resist becoming evil who will achieve salvation.

If you are not a child of God, a believer; then you are a child of the Devil. There seems to be no grey-area there.

No one. The devil is a personification of evil (ie. wrongful thoughts and deeds). There is no hell to fear. A thought adjustment is what's needed.

good and bad are simply behavioral terms to control your actions into what is desired
religion's main function is to control the masses, much cheaper than military force, guilt and bogey man works better

jesus is our great mediator. he's what gets between us and our sins(devil) and he's what god see's when he looks at us, instead of our sin, he sees jesus' sinless life.yes, he's all good, but he is our mediator .

The devil is suppose to be god's agent, Christians have it wrong he is not the enemy to god but does his bidding.
