He is coming as a thief in the night, when a women is pregnant we don't know the day or the hour. But we do know eventually she is going to have that baby.
That is the illustration Jesus used. When it happens it will be suddenly. Revelation 17:17 shows that when God puts it in
their hearts to do this it will happen.
It isn't to far off now because to many countries have the bomb. If he doesn't come soon their will be no flesh saved alive.

Well, isn't that just the evidence of fulfilled Scriptures that we're all waiting for!
The Bible says that in the last days, scoffers would arise and ask where is His coming?
In those days, look up, for your redemption draws near. He will come at such a time when you are not ready, like a thief in the night. But when He DOES come, everybody will see it, just as the lightning in the sky can be seen by everyone.
So, be ready, for you know not the hour of His appearing.

The sad part is when He does come back (and it's sooner than you think) most of the world will continue to be on the wide path to hell that Jesus mentioned. Accept Him now, while you have time. Today is the day of salvation for tomorrow is promised to NObody.

Some girl has a point...always good it is to speak for oneself, and not presume anything...why start up an argument about something nobody can prove? What's the point? (The same goes for religions, mind you)
Besides, who is the 'he' to whom you refer? The squalling alley cat? The Taco Bell chihuahua? The milkman? Ronald Reagan? Marlon Perkins? Lawrence Whelk?
Michael Keaton as Batman?
WHO?

I agree with pathfinder. Jesus will come back in his own time. Besides there are things here on earth that needs to be done before He comes. One of them is for the Gospel to be preached to every single soul on this earth. Once this is done later day signs will start coming so fast you won't be able to count them. and then suddenly He will be here. I'm looking forward to that day!

Matthew 25
1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.
If Christ delays His coming it is for us to have a chance to be prepared and for the fullness of His House to be met. Remember when He says in Matt 24 that it will be as it was in the Days of Noah...yeah, well brace yourself..cuz its going to get pretty bad. Love in Christ, ~J~

As in the days of Noah. They too didn't believe the preaching of Noah. For us Christians, it is just confirmation of prophecy.

God?
Why would you say that?
Give Him time, He will come back for us. It might be a while, but He's coming, I promise!
Try reading Revelations, from some of the studies I've seen, the end is beginning! Don't take it literal, you have to look at what it's really worth.

That is your choice to make but as a "NO" I will just wait as I am now doing. It is not my place to set His schedule for him.
