I personally think that teaching creation is a waste of time. Just do not understand why so many religious people are afraid of evolution. Why do most insist that creation is based on facts and yet the only source is the bible. Silly if you ask me

If creation is taught in schools it should not be taught alongside the scientific viewpoint. Maybe it should be thrown in there with world mythology, since a myth is exactly what it is.

You are talking about two entirely different subjects. Creation deals with the origin of the universe where nothing existed before. Evolution is a natural process that began billions of years after the Creation, and deals with ongoing change in already existing organisms. Unless you are knowledgeable in both areas you are ignorant in one or the other.

Learning is never a waste of time.
The human condition insists on it. That is why humans are the dominant life form on Earth.
Not learning, by sticking to outdated beliefs that have been proved wrong is ............... (put your own words in here)

I don't understand how one could teach "gawddidit" for an entire semester. Seems like it would get monotonous.
