Both, just like other folks. Yes you can be both at the same time. You might not be willing to go through the experience because you feel it is wrong (for you). But if other folks choose to go through it, that is their choice & has nothing to do with you. We should never ever expect/try to force others to do something just because it's right for us....that is how & why wars are started. Think about it.

Some Wiccans decry abortion as contrary to the Rede"Harm None" and others are militant about the "Right to Choose" abortion as a "basic feminist right".
One Wiccan i know thinks abortion brings the aborted baby to a better reincarnation but bad psychological, cosmic and spiritual repercussions on the lives of the mother and other participants in the abortion. Also, the good or love that the aborted child could have done has been prevented or aborted ,if you will (the cosmic repercussions)
There is as much diversity and disagreement among Wiccans about abortion as there is in Western societies as a whole.

Wiccans are generally pro-choice, because of the freedom to choose and they do not see it as being the governments decision in such things. At the same time, most Wiccans are personall pro-life, as they would not personally have an abortion themselves, but they still believe in the freedom to choose it. Most Wiccans are particular about taking responsability for one's own actions, and this would also include taking responsability for having sex. They also see life as being something wonderful, so they are not as likely to have an abortion.

I would tend to sday that Witches are pro-Choice, with each individual leaning towards pro-Life in THEIR personal lives but NOT making that choice for someone else. In other words, Each Witch biesw each situtation on it's ON merits and doesn't make blanket statements for everyone else. Remember, NO Witch would want someone to take their OWN right to make free choices, even if their choice would be to choose life.

Based on the ones I know, the group shades slightly towards pro-choice, because the idea of personal responsibility and not dictating how others life their lives is important.
Clarification - for their individual selves, they are largely pro-life. But when it comes to society and law, they are pro-choice, because each person has to make their own decisions and deal with the consequences and repercussions of their own actions.
