Whatever is the reason to wear a kilt if you wear something underneath it?
There are a lot of guys now in my area going for these http://www.utilikilts.com/ and the reason is to allow the 'boys' to be comfortable'
alright some is just cause they have become such an "in your face" statement just like piercings or tattoos but most of it is from the duality of being covered but naked also

Personally, I like authentic. Naturally. I've worn a few, mostly for fashion, not club or clan symbolism. I usually go traditionally...if you know what that is, for sure, then that is the way to go.
