First off, I'm a black male that was dating an Asian (Chinese) female. I went to her house one day (extremely nervous) and met her mother. My ex-girl had two younger sisters that both had white boyfriends. As I talked with her mother, I noticed that she had this stern, determined look on her face to not smile or show any kind of emotion. She asked me some offensive stereotypical questions, yet I answered them politely. When I told her I was in college she just said "Really? That's nice." She then asked my ex to go into the kitchen with her. They argued for about 10 minutes but I didn't pay attention until I heard her mother's EXACT words: "Why you don't go with white guy?! You could at least find Chinese!" I was shocked. My girl came out of the kitchen with a forced smile, and then we left. The next day, she told me "we should just be friends". Because I still like her, I agreed. Now she goes with a white guy, and I feel SOOO crushed. Should I still be friends with her?

I mean, let's face it, he doesn't exactly have the best track record for being very kind.

ie. -blames his newborn children for things that their ggggggggrandparents have done.

-slaughtered babies

-encouraged the death of his favorite son

-executed non-virgins

-wiped out the entire population of the world

-encourages stoning for misbehavior

-encourages men to beat their wives

-encourages slavery

-encourages the execution of "witches"

-hates his gay children, yet he made them that way

-sends people who don't believe in him to hell, yet he refuses to show his face

- gets some teenager knocked up and doesn't pay child support

-creates his own enemy (Satan)

(it goes on an on like this)

On top of that, the talk of death an killing far outweighs the talk of love in the bible.

For theists, why do you believe in your god(s)? What makes the other gods false? Please refrain from "all gods are the same God," because each god was different in the minds of the believers. Pick a few individual gods if you like and explain why you do not believe in them. Use reason please (not Bible verses).

Atheists, if you had to give me one reason for your disbelief, what would that reason be? What is your response to the argument, "God exists outside the natural world"?

Im so sorry to even be asking this...But its either ask you people...OR scream at my boss...So in the spirit of wanting to keep my job....

My boss..who unfortunately (just cos the job sucks!) is also my step dad keeps staring at me ...All the time!! If i call someone he just watches, if I do something on the computer he just stares... I always just catch him staring and I hate it...!!

Lol.. now, its not a pervy stare!! Its just a gormless thing he does, but its driving me crazy! I sometimes just look accross at him and say 'is everything ok' or 'whats wrong?' but he just says 'yeah, fine' my asking is my polite way of telling him to stop it!!

I told my mum and she just laughed, she says its his habit!! Which is fine if you're married to him and see it as a quirk..But I just see it as really irritating..

Hes a nice guy and I dont want to offend..But can anyone suggest anything that I could say...??

If any one of them change their genital organs and get married. They love each other and decided to get married. One of them decided to change his/her genital organs to that of an opposite sex. Then they got married. Now, one of them is a male and other one is a female. Is it wrong or is it right?

I think there needs to be a word for painted on jeans and tight t-shirts (like Tim McGraw and Trace Adkins wear, not that I object), tight tank tops, too-short shorts, Speedos, and certain other fashion statements that men sometimes make. I never hear the word "slutty" used for a man or his clothes, but sometimes I think you kind of *need* a word like that. What do y'all think? What would you call clothes like that on a guy?

This is the most frustrating place to live. Getting a decent job that pays more then min. wage is nearly impossible here. Don't know if you need connections to get a job or need to be south american. Funny, I always thought Florida was part of the United States. This place is a third world area with exception to the country club and gated communities where you can't even say hello to neighbors in fear they are involved in illegal activities and/or don't speak English!

Has anyone else come to this conclusion that there are 1440 minutes in a day and the new jerusalem or new heaven described in revelations is laid out like a cube 1440 miles in 3 dimensions? This poses the question then if heaven indeed will be on earth then how would earth fit something of that madnitude on it? I am just making an observation.

I wonder why most Christians don't realize that quite a few of their beliefs and practices are either non-Biblical or even anti-Biblical.

If you are a Protestant Christian, then please tell me why you do not believe it to be anti-Biblical to celebrate or fellowship on Sunday (the first day) instead of the Sabbath (the seventh day)? (Please answer with Bible verses to support your opinion).

Or even where does it say which books are actually suppose to be in the Bible (table of contents is a modern addition). (Bible verses please)

Or where it says that we are to use the Bible ALONE for our ultimate salvation? (Bible verses please)

I don't mean towards me personally, I'd rather do without it if comes from a 'sense of duty'
....but really some of the people I know are SO desperately unhappy and they just don't seem to understand it's mostly down to the fact that they're 'penny-pinching' 'tight-wads'
