okay well my mom thinks masturbation, oral sex, etc is a sin and sex is only made to make babies. does that mean i should not masturbate ever?

also is birth control a sin? so many people say it is? like so am i not supposed to use birth control? how should i prevent pregnancy if i ever have sex. thanks!

Surely,this cannot be August. Here, in East Anglia, we haven't seen a glimmer of sunshine for at least three days. We have had gale force winds which brought several trees down, loads of rain and, what seems like a dark grey blanket for the sky.
The temperature is about 14 degrees. Last night I would easily have given in and put the central heating on but I couldn't because we have an air lock that we have to sort.
I just hope the rest of you have got the sun 'cos we certainly haven't.

China is Godless and Atheist and India is multi-god. Both slaps in the face of Islam. The US at least is a religious based country following one of Islam's prophets (Christ). Shouldn't they hate China and India More based on Religion alone?

So people say that the Holy Ghost and miracles and stuff were for the Bible days not now. But if only parts of the Bible pertain to this modern day, why do we believe any of it?? Don't get me wrong I'm Apostolic and a FULL believe in God and the Bible. I believe in the Holy Ghost because I received it nearly 4 years ago and it's the best thing that EVER happened!! I've witnessed miracles myself, so know one can convince me that God doesn't do them, but I was wondering why people only believe parts of the Bible these days.

I hear alot of people say that "God" doesn't make 'mistakes '(the original point of discussion being gay people - from someone else previous question). The religious people that answered spoke of humans choosing to sin rather than "God" making a mistake by creating someone that doesn't conform. One thing I am talking about is the earth quake in Peru. Why did God kill all those people? I don´t think it was Gods intention to kill all those people, maybe they were not listening.

Another point. New Orleans, Louisiana. Does any one remember hurricane and the flood to follow? how many weeks did every one have a worning in advance and they chose to ignore the wornings. was it Gods fault that so many people died? What about all those brand new schools busses, that the Mayer said will not leave the bus barn because they will be used to pick up kids in the morning...they were submerged in salt water :) was that Gods fault?

Why do people choose to ignore the warning signs then blame God for the after effects?

a better question would be:

Why do people choose to live in places where earth quakes, hurricanes and floods happen?

You know they say that you should kill people with kindness
I.e. as a christain if someone is being quite mean to you even though you are trying to be nice to them or you are being friendly to them and they are acting like you dont exist?
As a christain how should you be should you still be nice cos Joyce Mayer says that she goes the extra mile to be nice to them and sometimes even sends a gift etc?
