Where can I buy a Nimbus 2007? I hear they just came out with the new model.
Also: if mudbloods come from muggles, why are there still muggles?
(Harry Potter is obviously fiction. My question is: do those who think it's an accurate depiction of witchcraft actually read the book, which is blatantly fantasy?)

@RJR: I don't know what college *you* went to, but...nevermind, I can't bring myself to say it.

1) I don't think that the Nimbus 2007 is available in the US yet.
2) There are still muggles because not every child born to them is magical. For example, Harry's mother's parents had two girls, Lily & Petunia. Lily was the only wizard, Petunia was a muggle. Make sense?
3) No, I don't think they've even read any of the books. They picked up that it was about witches and automatically think its evil. People are so ignorantly close minded. It is a work of fiction people!!!

Magic, to me, is simply an ancient word used as many might use the word miracle today. If there were physical schools to teach magic, I too would attend for nothing more, perhaps, than to satisfy my own curiosity regarding any differences from what other religions, or life paths may teach. Currently, my conclusion is this: Magic and the miraculous are indeed very much the same. A simple study can be had through quiet meditation, prayer, and observation of nature. When ready, the use of/participation in magic is really a "reconnection with the divine" in all things, including yourself. The path you choose to make and maintain this "reconnection" is very deeply personal. Only you can decide. Christian, Pagan... or none of the various options out there. The point is that magic DOES exist and can be taught/studied in real life. However, it is up to the student (always) to choose a path, learn it well, and USE what they learn with discretion, respect and an ever OPEN heart and mind. Movie magic is all scripts, props, and camera tricks. Real magic, or miracles, do exist for all patient, and curious enough to seek them out If you are sincere, keep looking. The right way for you may be right under your nose... No "Potter Puff n "flash" required.

Q -- "(Harry Potter is obviously fiction. My question is: do those who think it's an accurate depiction of witchcraft actually read the book, which is blatantly fantasy?)"
A -- RRR Cult lemmings, in which group pretty much ALL of the Harry Potter **whiners** are found, probably have an average IQ of around 80. (A generous estimate!) So probably include few who would read an 800-page book. They just follow their leaders' lying and ludicrous propaganda.

I'm sure some people do read it and think that is what witchcraft it. They are probably some of the same people who think that it is satanic. Although people who call it satanic probably haven't read it at all. They also haven't read anything about real Wicca or Witchcraft. So yes they think it's a real representation, but no they probably haven't read it. Most people who read it know that it is fantasy.
Of course it's not a real representation. It's just that, a story. A very well written story that I enjoy reading, but just a story. If you do find a real Nimbus 2007 then let me know please! LOL!

Actually, they're not selling the 2007 models anymore. The 2008s came out in early August.
There aren't still muggles. They just have not yet activated their mudbloodness (if that's a word).
Anyway, I'm off to play Quidditch.
What does RTR stand for?

I say, I've actually talked to a few of the people that think harry potter is the devil and the whole series is devil worship. And I find that they havn't read the book, they refuse to because they think that some how it is a sin or bowing down to the devil or whatever. These people will never change their mind but at least we all know the truth.
By the way, I'd rather have Siruis's motorcylce that Mr. Weasley enchanted :-)

Ha, ha! I like the format, it made me do a double take!
Obviously and keeping in the pattern of hysterical mobs, the folks who think that the Potter movies accurately portray spellcraft only know what they've been told and heard in childhood legends. Too many people in this fast paced ignorant society take everything at face value rather than discovering for themselves. It's easier to believe in fantasy than to research the truth behind it.

I have a 1956 Nimbus that is chopped and channeled, it has chromed straw headers with a GMC supercharger and a pair of four barrels on top. I just had a new sound system installed with a 300 watt amp so I can push that thump-thump sound out across the sky while I'm crusin the hood. it's a real pimped out broom.

As I understand it the Nimbus is made by BMW, and the Firebolt is manufactured by Porsche. I have heard on good authority from contacts at the PTL club that Harley, Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha are going to be coming out with a line of brooms of their own.
While you are at it you might want to check out the newest selection of HDCB's (High Definition Crystal Balls) being offered by Sony and Toshiba.
