Creating the eye! mindless science hard at work!
Creating the tongue so we could talk! WOW
Creating a bird. How did evolution pull that off?
a whole world of animals and people and birds and fish just from a little puddle of goo

I am an impressed man!
You would think to your self gee, I would never look at a car and say yea, that just evolved from mettle over time, but I guess if you call it a puddle of goo that changes everything!

DuckPhup Your right. Mindless inventions that work perfect is a much smarter way to think about how the world was made.

Ok, you got me there. Wait, do cars reproduce? Do they have parts and pieces left over from previous versions? Do they have parts that should be on a different machine?

This is the difference between planned design and a species in evolution.

JD, I just realized something and I honestly hope you read this. I used to have the same questions and skepticism that you're showing now i.e. I did not believe that evolution was a rational substitute for creation. But then I started to examine the evidence for both sides and to check their assertions. The thing that became clear to me was that "Creation Scientist" would make half baked statements based on limited understanding and research. The next thing that was apparent was that there was a huge sequential fossil record which included many fossils showing transitional characteristics.

I'm not encouraging you to change your beliefs, but to educate yourself in the real world. (If your God truly made it, I'm sure that he wouldn't fear you learning all you can about it). If you don't think that your faith can stand up to this challenge, it would not be a good faith.

ANSWERING DuckPhup
==================

We have faith and belief in the Knowledge of GOD.

Our Faith is not the denial of provable Knowledge but the appreciation that the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD is superior than of any man!

Think of this scenario: evolutionist tells me Z evolved from Y and Y From X, X from W ... and B from A and A from some element (whatever we call it). Now this man of science is confounded when asked, where the very first element came from.

We as lay people say it is GOD! and you have no answer! If you have a definite answer fight, otherwise keep quiet instead of lampooing with your half knowledge!

It is better for the likes of DuckPhups worship their monkeys than spread half baked knowledge!

Amazing you people are so weak and pathetic you cannot think in any other way except in a subservient, slavish and sheepish manner. You just cannot function without praying to something.

Some people have definitely moved up the evolutionary ladder a little further than others.

Instead we should pray to a god that accomplished feats the greatest druggies could ever imagine?

Also point of interest : mettle - courage and fortitude
metal - stuff cars are made of

Proper use of homonyms: Priceless

apparently the word metal has evolved to "mettle".

Our eyes are garbage compared to other species, for example the eagle. Why? Because the eagle depends on their great sight to find small rodents in the grass.

You can either think that it was created to work perfectly, or that it works perfectly because otherwise they wouldn't survive.

This is the product of a homeschooled education folks. Beware when you have thoughts of doing this to your kids.

No, its a 3-d model I made at work, you like it?

You know that you're and your are 2 different words right? Try using them correctly. You seem to think you're smart, or that you know when someone is dumb, yet you exhibit extreme ignorance in not only your question, but in the language (or lack of knowledge of your own language) you use.

I suggest reading about evolution before you condemn it as a magical deity that creates life. It is a process like photosynthesis in plants, or how rocks are formed.

Your question reveals that the foolishness which serves you as a substitute for knowledge and reason is a logical fallacy (a flaw in thinking) known as the "Argument From Incredulity"... which is a sub-category of the "Argumentum ad Ignorantiam" (Argument From Ignorance). It goes something like this: "I can't conceive of (or imagine) how this might have come to be; therefore, God did it."

That does not point to a limitation of science, or of nature... rather, it illuminates a limitation of YOUR knowledge and/or intellect. Also, it is intellectually dishonest, since it does not (as scientists do) ACKNOWLEDGE the limitation of knowledge... it merely invokes the fanciful idea of a supernatural creator-entity to manifest the ILLUSION that your ideas correlate to 'facts'. Finally... it reveals that you presume, for yourself, a form of omniscience... thinking that goes like this: "If this were understandable, then I should be able to understand (or imagine) it. I do NOT (can not) understand (or imagine) it... therefore it is NOT understandable... and since it is NOT understandable (by me), it logically follows that it cannot be 'true'. Therefore... God did it." (See? Right back to the Argument from Incredulity.)

'Faith' (wishful, magical thinking) is a substitute for evidence.

'Belief' (the internalized 'certainty' that you are privy to the 'truth' pertaining to some fundamental aspect of existence and/or reality) is a substitute for knowledge... i.e., the ILLUSION of knowledge.

faith + belief = self-delusion and willful ignorance

Wow, just wow. I won't even waste any time trying to explain anything to you, as I can see you didn't even understand the other answers presented thus far. Wow...

I wouldn't pray to evolution, you seem more likely a candidate for such lunacy.
