This is the most frustrating place to live. Getting a decent job that pays more then min. wage is nearly impossible here. Don't know if you need connections to get a job or need to be south american. Funny, I always thought Florida was part of the United States. This place is a third world area with exception to the country club and gated communities where you can't even say hello to neighbors in fear they are involved in illegal activities and/or don't speak English!

I totally agree with you and it seems to be that way all over florida now . I live in central florida and it seems to me that you have to speak spanish to get a decent paying job and then the welfare dept wonders why you cant get a job ? because employers would rather have someone who is bi-lingual . It just does not seem fair does it ? Hopefully something will come along soon for you . good luck .

I take it you are not Mexican. They have taken over all the areas of construction, so much so, that if you look for a job you can't even talk to anyone in English. This Too Must Pass!

Sorry,I laughed out loud when I initially read this question.Thank the ILLEGAL immigrants and the sanctuary cities and the reluctance to enforce our laws (at the federal level) for your predicament.Do you think you can find work at a decent wage in these conditions???NO SE PUEDE!!!!
