He cannot.....because he is not a mortal (i.e Human). I'll put this in layman's terms instead of siting scripture (scriptures tend to get twisted like a twizzler in this forum): have you ever heard the saying "to err is human". Well, God is not human.
Thanks

Christians claim God didn't murder anyone, he just *killed* them.

If he murdered them he would be by far the biggest sinner that ever existed. But apparently he hasn't *murdered* anyone, he only *killed* them which I guess is totally OK.

But are Christians just desperately playing word games and semantics to get around the fact that God is biggest murderer in the history of eternity (If the bible is true like they say)?

on their own, or just lazy, or what? I just don't get it! If I were a parent of adult kids that wanted to move back home or who were still living at home, I would say that I hadn't done my job right! In nature little birds grow up and WANT to leave the nest. Growing up and moving out should be more of an instinct with humans, as well. So...what gives?

I left my phone at a Gamestop earlier today and did not notice it was gone until I got a call from my phone. The guy said that he found the phone in the store and looked through the numbers for a home number. I told him I would stop by as soon as they open tomorrow to get my phone. I would like to give this guy a reward but I am extremely broke right now. Is something better than nothing? He is an employee there BTW.

The Bible says we are to rejoice with one another, so will you have a little celebration with me? I was just hired from a temp position to a "real" position after 2 years working a variety of temp jobs. Praise the Lord!

There are 3 confirmed dead, and possibly 9 or more dead, in the most recent mining accident. These accidents occur once or twice a year, killing dozens of people (or more) every year. Likewise, there are oil drilling and refinery accidents every year which take human lives.

This one accident has taken more lives than all the lives lost in the entire history of the US nuclear program. Why won't Americans see, while that NO technology is completely safe, nuclear power has the greatest benefits available at the lowest risk? If you believe the Global Warming crowd, it's clear that nuclear technology is the only solution to that problem. France gets more than 1/2 of its energy needs from nuclear power. For once, they're right.

I graduated at the begining of June, but was taking summer classes and never found time to send out thank you notes for many of the cards and gifts I recieved. Is it to late to send them out now or would it be better late than never? I'm afraid that after this long it would seem insincere (I recieved many of the cards in May). Is there a way to explain why I sent them so late, or would it just seem like a cheesy excuse?

In the States, we're taught to stand up every time the national anthem is played. Is it the same in Britain for "God Save the Queen" when played in public?

I am reading A Great and Terrible Beauty. One of the characters name is Kartik. My friend and I have argued how to pronounce it. I would appreciate it if someone would please help me. I know he is a gypsy.

I just got home from The Invasion. There was a pack of about 20 kids, who talked incredibly loudly throughout the whole movie. Being outnumbered (there were about four of us who didn't come with them) no one said anything. But it was infuriating. I complained to my mom and she said ushers used to patrol the theaters and address such issues. Is there a reason theaters don't handle these problematic people the same way anymore?
