He cannot.....because he is not a mortal (i.e Human). I'll put this in layman's terms instead of siting scripture (scriptures tend to get twisted like a twizzler in this forum): have you ever heard the saying "to err is human". Well, God is not human.
Thanks

There's a big difference between "can't" and "won't." Any time you start a sentence with "God can..." you are correct. However, things that are contrary to God's nature, while within His power, He will not do.

So THAT'S what layman's terms means! lol

To "err" and to "sin" are two different things, but it doesn't matter, because god doesn't exist.

HE could of Sinned!
Jesus was Tempted in All Points!

Tempted means HE Coulda'.
But HE didn't!!!

Just so you'll know, IF Jesus woulda' Sinned, EveryThing would of Ceased to Exist.
Thats' it!!!
GOD too!!!
Gone, into Total Nothingness....

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting that God can sin, but to complete that saying:

"To err is human, to forgive is divine".

We are supposed to be God like in that we are asked to forgive others.

I myself am an excellent example of that...................NOT!!

Satan is not human either. If only humans can sin I wonder who started the rumor that Satan sinned against God.

God cannot sin because he is the one who makes the rules.
It is a sinto kill but he can kill whoever he wants
it is a sin to lie but he cansay whatever he wants
It is a sin to rape but he can impregnate anyone he wants.

lol Actually everything is related. Drawing a line between science and spirituality is fuzzy and so is the line between man and God. "..you are in me and I am in you."
