I believe in God and that the Bible is his word to us.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Peace be with you

I don't have a religion. In fact, you could say that I'm against religion. Just like Jesus Christ. I have a relationship.

I know who Jesus Christ is, because I've experienced and communicated with Him. And I don't care what anyone says, I won't be backing down from that. How can I back down from something I don't just believe, but experience?

That's like asking me to quit believing my arm is real.

I was born and raised in the christian faith (the faith of my parents)

so naturally i should follow their beliefs right?? WRONG.

i did some research and studying on my own and discovered Islam. I am now a muslim, of 5 years.

Our creed is to believe in Allah (the One and ONLY diety worthy of worship-who has no sons/daughters), His Angels, His Books (the origonal, not modified Torah, Bible and the Holy Qur'an) His Messengers (including Jesus and Muhammed), the Day of Judgment, and Fate whether good or bad (predestination).

Duties of Muslims:

Shahadah (Testimony of Faith)
The first pillar of Islam is to believe and declare the faith by saying the Shahadah (lit. 'witness'), known as the Kalimah.

Salah (Daily Ritual Prayers)
Prayer (Salah), in the sense of worship, is the second pillar of Islam. Prayer is obligatory and must be performed five times a day. These five times are dawn (Fajr), immediately after noon (Dhuhr), mid-afternoon ('Asr), sunset (Maghrib), and early night (Isha').

Sawm (Fasting the Month of Ramadhan)
The fourth pillar of Islam is fasting. Allah prescribes daily fasting for all able, adult Muslims during the whole of the month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the lunar calendar, beginning with the sighting of the new moon.

Zakah (Alms Tax for Poor)
The third pillar of Islam is the alms-tax (Zakah). The word in Arabic implies "purification" and it is understood to mean that a person "purifies" his holdings of wealth from greed and stinginess.

Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca)
The fifth pillar of Islam is to make a pilgrimage (Hajj) to Makkah, in Saudi Arabia, at least once in one's lifetime. This pillar is obligatory for every Muslim, male or female, provided that he/she is physically and financially able to do so.

I believe:

God did NOT create the Earth...we did.

Basically the idea is that when spirits incarnated into physical bodies, they loved their newly found forms of limitation- but soon over identified with them and lost their spiritual abilities. Think of it as fallen angels if you will. Remember Lucifer tried to convince one third of the angels to follow him?

Sometime in the past, we collectively decided it was okay to lie to ourselves and we continue to do so about many things. When adam ate from the knowledge of good and evil it was metaphor for submitted ourselves to duality: good/evil, yin/yang, past/future, truth/unreal, ignorant/wiser etc. instead of being one with God- See the connection? It's all about keeping this reality going. We were originally one sex on this planet according to ancient theological schools such as the oracle of delphi. Anger, Lust, Envy (the seven deadly sins + the ten commandments) are all seperatist patterns of behavior, and as long as we continue to have them we will reincarnate here. But for all the suffering this grand experiment into seperation from God has done, it is afterall a learning experience.

I'm a "I don't give a flying four-letter-word about any of your beliefs--atheist or religious--because why should one have beliefs like that anyway. I can't think of a bigger waste of time than pondering if some alien controls our destiny or not"

As a Pagan I honor the gods and respect and revere nature. I use my personal energy in ritual and spellwork and believe that giving of yourself to help others is one of the best things you can do to honor the deities.

Agnostic, because there is no way that any human can know God, much less which weird religion he wants us to follow or not follow.
